      Never Give Up

Hi Guys for the people who don't know me my name is Kali and I just wanna share my journey to my first lucid dream

Before I get started I just want to let y'all know that i'm not that special at all. I'm the kind of girl that cant do the splits, raise one of her eyebrows, do a handstand, etc so if I can Lucid Dream I PROMISE you can do it.

I learned about Lucid Dreams last summer and I thought it was the coolest thing ever! I watched all the youtube videos and read all the website articles. I

became totally obsessed with it. To a point where I would wake up in the morning and through out the whole day all I could think about was Lucid

Dreaming.I would try WBTB for like 2 hours and would take unhealthy amounts of Vitamins. The articles I read stated that WBTB was the easiest and that

all I needed to do was take a lot of vitamins, meditate, and keep a dream journal. ( I didnt even know about RCs or anything like that) I also read

online that only a selected few got to Lucid Dream and that LDing was rare. For about 2 weeks I did this. Then I forgot why but I stopped

and only thought about Lucid Dreaming maybe once a week.

Last month (November) I decided I would try again and this time put more effort into it. Before I could do WBTB I discovered DreamViews and I thought I

would give it a try. I've learned soooo much from DVs. I learned that WBTB is one of the hardest forms of getting a LD, That RCs are crucial to becoming

Lucid, etc. But i would never of become Lucid without my amazing friends that were very supportive (Spellbee2, Astralmango, and Kingcobra) So after a

week of doing DILD and my DJ and my RCs I got sick and decided to take a break of almost everything (but my RCs) and during this time I had 2 Lucid

Dreams! I was so happy I couldn't believe I had a lucid dream! It wasnt totally amazing like I couldn't really control myself but it felt really rewarding. And

now i'm here trying to control my Lucid Dreams better and still trying to have them

What Im really trying to say is to NEVER give up and to keep trying because you will get it

A very heart-felt post, thank you a lot for this. I cant agree more on that mindset, although i think taking breaks from LDing is totally fine, but never abandon it completely. Every time you try it will sink further and further into your subconscious, and the more times you succeed, the more your confidence will grow.

      Cheers Kalico.

This has happened to me multiple times, where after a consistent burst of attention to lucidity and taking many active steps, I get no quick reward, but as soon as I decide to take it easy for a second and stop being so pro-active--that's when the lucid dream comes!

Just to clarify, I THINK you meant doing a WILD is difficult. WBTB is one of the best ways to enhance you chances with DILD. Did I state this right or are you still thinking WBTB is difficult?
