I can see what you mean. I cover shades of that that in my 2nd spoiler in the OP. I do think that if you are fully lucid and don't have any beliefs that make you worry about dreamland, that you would be fine though.

That is the difference with other super hero shows. This one has quite a few dreamy, trippy scenes and of course the lucid dreaming tie-in's I mention in the spoiler. Parts of the show really make you question the reality of what is happening, kind of mirroring the ideal state to perform an RC in.
Falling Water, which was recently renewed for a 2nd season, is directly set in the dreamscape for much of each episode, it's a primary plot point…and it definitely feeds any fears you may have of dreamland, though it doesn't bother me at all. There are definitely some lucid dreams but it seems as talented as the main characters are, they definitely are not completely comfortable in dreamland, even when they are seemingly lucid.
Zen Dog is a movie coming out this year where lucid dreaming seems to be a primary plot point and features voice recordings of Alan Watts. You can find more info under zendogmovie.
Lucid dreaming seems to be inspiring more and more entertainment lately.
