Legion TV Show - Lucid Dreaming Inspiration Developing Nicely

Legion is it's first season on FX Channel in the US and it sounds like it was picked up in 125 countries according to the wiki page. At first this show just seemed to be decent inspiration for lucid dreaming with the powers that the characters have. This show goes further though, filled with dreamy imagery, especially starting with the 4th episode.
Spoiler for Minor spoiler, but mainly if not paying attention to the plot:

Anyway, I encourage people to check it out. Anyone else on DV watching the show? I feel it started a little slow in the first episode or two but has really broke out for me and I see so many connections to dreaming and lucid dreaming.

Spoiler for more discussion of the spoiler:

^I think it was just the first 2 episodes that seemed a little slow to me but really loving it and looking forward to season finale this week, episode 8. Same creator of Fargo TV series, which like this show, also gets high marks from critics and the general public.

It was renewed for a 2nd season.

I started to watch it, I'm at episode 4 and it is very good I like it

I really like how it is filmed and how we never really know what is real and what is not

I watched all 8 episodes. Last episode was a bit of a let down, but episode 7 was amazing.

Your "blown by it" comment had me reliving my dream from last night, haha…not lucid, but a very vivid and present epic, which can be better than some lucids.

Yes, like the characters should do some RC's! The main girl was so close to doing an RC somewhere around episode 6 I think it was (the door in the hallway).

I see what you mean about episode 8, but I guess they have to kind of had to set up the next season.

Welp,I binge watched the first season. Lol Not sure I'd recommend it to inexperienced lucid dreamers though, give how creepy the show can get. Unless you don't relate it to lucid dreaming in which case it isn't that creepy.

I just thought it was very stylish and had a lot of dream-"like" bits... very trippy.

I can see what you mean. I cover shades of that that in my 2nd spoiler in the OP. I do think that if you are fully lucid and don't have any beliefs that make you worry about dreamland, that you would be fine though.

That is the difference with other super hero shows. This one has quite a few dreamy, trippy scenes and of course the lucid dreaming tie-in's I mention in the spoiler. Parts of the show really make you question the reality of what is happening, kind of mirroring the ideal state to perform an RC in.

Falling Water, which was recently renewed for a 2nd season, is directly set in the dreamscape for much of each episode, it's a primary plot point…and it definitely feeds any fears you may have of dreamland, though it doesn't bother me at all. There are definitely some lucid dreams but it seems as talented as the main characters are, they definitely are not completely comfortable in dreamland, even when they are seemingly lucid.

Zen Dog is a movie coming out this year where lucid dreaming seems to be a primary plot point and features voice recordings of Alan Watts. You can find more info under zendogmovie.

Lucid dreaming seems to be inspiring more and more entertainment lately.
