Questions about Image Streaming (for those who have tried it).

I'm interested in trying Image Streaming. The questions I have are

      1) Does it work in terms of allowing one to vividly visualize in all 5 senses?
      2) If the visualizations are very intense does it compete with Lucid Dreaming?

I looked around this forum and it appears that most people who seemed to have tried it end up not reporting back on results after some time of practicing. It leaves me a little bit skeptical of the technique.

Alright, as someone who have practiced image streaming I'll report back for you right away. ^^

      1) Does it work in terms of allowing one to vividly visualize in all 5 senses? Yes!
      2) If the visualizations are very intense does it compete with Lucid Dreaming? No, but It'll come close if you do it in a sensory deprivation tank.

It gets more vivid and richer the more you do it and the longer you do it. I have had very life-like experiences, but it's just not as immersive as dreams. At least for me.

I have played around with it, but never got really good. Right now I'm focusing on LD and meditating.

From what I can tell, it seems to be more of a form of hypnagogic imagery, so learning to induce that would probably help, although they say if you get really good at it, you can get to the point where you can close your eyes and instantly start streaming. I would say in quality, it's probably somewhere between HI and LD.
