Thread: Video Games in lucid Dreams

well, considering i just got it for christmas, Ratchet: Deadlocked, and then also SWBattlefront 2, Battlefield 2, America's Army (online),and SWKOTOR. w00t for video games!

I'm a big FPS fan. Here are a few of mine in no particular order:

To bad I have the feeling I don't have a body while in those dreams so I can't do a RC that easially ^___^

I love to be Fire Emblem Lyn. She is my fav Nintendo character. Also, everyone here is part of the enviorment, like Ramu is Ninian (the 1/2 Dragon 1/2 human fighter) & Seeker is Athos (the 1,000 year old Archsage!!)
I may also be in the enviornment of the game I am creating, thinking up new ideas/layouts for it
I will settle w/being in any RPG or adventure games though that are not M rated (as I am not allowed to play those).

FPSs rule....i actually had two dreams that evolve the RTS warcraft 3....i was just looking down and telling my units what to do...and then they were talking to me like...NO lets no and yeah...

I love videogames, but I can't honestly say that there are many that I would be interested in visiting whilst lucid. Arcade-style games would be interesting, G-Loc, After Burner, Wipeout, Starfox, Prop Cycle, House Of The Dead, etc... Also, some of the Japanese hentai games have interesting characters that I would like to meet in a LD.

I have had one lucid dream where I opened the door to my room and it lead into the PC FPS game Blood. But I was myself and did not have any weapons, so I pointed my middle and index fingers on both hands at the monks and zombies, making gunshot sounds with my voice and recoil motions and they went down pretty fast. That was awesome. Everything looked and sounded just like the game.

Final fantasy. It would be cool being a hero and saving the whole world and stuff. and plus you can summon monsters too which is cool

I've had a non-lucid dream where I was in Final Fantasy VI and I found my way into Final Fantasy VIII and met some characters in it.

Oh, I thought about it many times, especially after winning a battle on the GCN/GBA w/my 1st Pokemon, Raichu(evolved from Pikachu), or maybe even capturing ones that you'd have to purchase in real time to get a hold of (Mew, Celebi, & Deoxys....I already have Jirachi, Ho-Oh, & Lugia).
Ramu is also a big fan of Pokemon as well!!

Usually when I try to play video games in LDs I have a sudden realization I am very tired and I can't look at the TV or computer screen. Though, last night I was finally able to play a video game in a LD (I've been IN video gamesd during LDs before but my dream self has a hard time playing them in a foreign environment). I played the Chronicles of Narnia. :sweat1:

(the strange part is that, when I see any console in my dream, there is always strange about them....a broken ds still working, and a wavebird that is not wireless , those "details" helped me doing RCs , with the wavebird i was: "wtf wavebirds are supposed to be wireless, *RCs* OMG I'm dreaming!!! yay ^^ " )

Age of Empires I, II & III, plus Age of Mythology. Favorite RTS games of all time. The new one totally kicks butt, by the way.

Morrowind (Waiting for Oblivion...)
X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, or any other Star Wars game. Lightsabers or interstellar fighter planes, both are good.

EDIT: Also, Shadow of Colossus WOULD be infinitely awesome. I haven't really played the game much, but enough to see how amazing the artwork is.
