      anyone else experience this?

hey everyone, you know how dreams are usually (supposed to be) random and stuff, and for me dream scenes usually just keep changing and im not even aware that things are different. same goes for my dream appliances, sometimes stuff doesnt work, or i'm unable to use it twice because it has changed to something else. there is not much consistancy in my dreams.

but my past few nights of dreams (i havnt been dreaming well lately, and my dreams arent that vivid anymore for some reason) have been different. for example, i had this dream of being at my school, i noticed a part of my history hallway was different, and i remembered how its supposed to look. thats not happened before.

i was also in my bathroom, and my shower was really screwed up and the hot/cold water knobs were on the wall outside of the shower. but when i turned them on, the shower gradually started , and i experimented with turning them on and off and each time the same amount of water increased and i even walked away from it (stuff usually changes in my dreams if i leave it alone then go back to it) and then i tried it again and it was the same.

and in general, my overall dream places i was at didnt change that much. stuff was just added to them as i traveled through them. my past few nights of dreams havnt been random at all, in the sense of them being stable. i've had more non-lucid awareness even though they arent as vivid.

so i was wondering if anyone else was experiencing more consistancy in dreams, more than usual. so anyone else experience this? comments would also be appreciated. or PMs to me. whichever.

The most common unusual changes in my dreams are day/night. Non-lucid dreams tend to flow quite consistantly aside from that.

My LDs are different, but I recognize the rapid changes as lack of experience. They tend to fade quickly and react to my attention and thoughts in very pronounced ways... but not all of them.

In order to stay lucid, I spin. I always end up where I wanted to be if it is determined in advance. When I just spin without thinking, it is random.

I've never thought about spinning with the intention of returning to the same place. That goes on my personal goal list!

I'm basicallly the same. My dreams definitely change from night to day often but other than that they don't change much. another change I remember is a windshield on a van that didn't have a windshield when I first got in. Also, I often have thimes in the same dream where i remember nohting in the middle, and then suddenly I am somewhere else, or what's going on is completely different.

Last night i dreamt I was trying to lower parts of my bed through my bedroom window, then I turned up in the middle of the African desert. I have a lot of setting changes in my dreams.

Yes, I have found that it is largely futile to ever try to find a lost object, to return to a lost place, or to find a lost person. The lesson here is to move forward, move forward, move forward.

Particularly troubling is when one meets a pretty and charming young lady whom one is captivated by. One wishes to return a visit to such delightful company, and so it is common to circle about in one's dreams trying to re-establish contact. But if one only goes forward, acknowledging the pleasure of the past but knowing it would be useless to attempt some return, then, guess what -- one finds someone NEW who seems, if possible, even better.

Move forward, move forward, move forward. What you find in a dream by going forward is always at least as good as what one leaves behind.

Now, sometimes you are supposed to find one's way, to recover something. But in such cases then Angels intercede and show you the way. So don't wonder around lost, but resolve on moving forward, and if you are meant to find whatever it is, then it will be put infront of you.

      so move forward.

Well that is downright quotable, Leo.

Alot of the time the environments remain constant, although not consistant. Like I walk out of my back door into a space station, then back again.

But objects tend to change often, but only slightly. Just simple tihings like my Ipod going from facing up to facing down in a blink. It annoys me when I don't notice them.

If I try to look for something it either vanishes from where I left it, or appears right in front of me as soon as I start looking.

I voted the 4th one, 'all of the above'

sometimes they're so bad I can't even look from left to right then back left again and it be the same lol

but some of my LDs have been perfectly clear as if I were in a real place and nothing in my dream environment misbehaved unless I commanded it to
