Thread: ever killed any1?

I've killed tons of people in my dreams (indeed, some of my dreams seem to be actual killing fests). The one killing experience that exactually stayed with me for a few days, was when I killed a good friend of mine though.
I dreamt that he had betrayed me by choosing the side of some kind of evil king who was having his archers kill me. I faced him and he attacked me with a stick (and by "attacked", I mean "padded me softly on the head, kinda"), after which I felt I had no choice but to murder him. I stabbed him with a spear that i'd acquired earlier and he got mad at me. I then stabbed some more, twice as hard this time. He dropped to the ground, his face expressionless and pale.
When it was done I felt like I did what I had to do, and ran away (as people were still firing arrows at me). I then saw him get ressurected with a bright light and was glad that he wasn't dead after all.

The only time I remember killing someone in a lucid dream was when I turned myself into an angel, but my wings were smaller than I'd hoped them to be. Then, another angel with larger wings popped out in front of me. This other angel turned into three angels (a father, mother and son) and attacked me, or maybe I attacked them, either way, I killed them with fireballs and a nice radiating sword, which was kinda fun.

I don't think I've ever killed anyone, but I can't say for sure. I have however seen someone from my dorm who I barely talk to get hit by a semi while he was riding a bike on halloween (in a dream of course).

Non-Lucid: I have the occassional nightmare where I kill someone out of defense or it being an accident.

Lucid: In my lucid "book" dreams I have the hero/heroine kill the bad guy on occassion if need be.

I can't imagine I'd ever kill anyone in my non-lucids, though, because I tend to not be a very violent person. *Even when I get angry, which is not all that often, I'm not violent. *Just sulky.

As for my lucids? *I dunno. *I mean, perhaps I suppose it's something I should consider trying. *But... the idea just doesn't seem to appeal to me all that much.

I mean, having martial arts fights and lightsaber battles, sure. *Perhaps even a gun-battle, just for the excitement. *But for the excitement, not the killing. *Like, if I shot anyone in a lucid dream, I don't think they'd actually die. *They'd just disappear, I think. *I've got no way to verify this, but... I dunno, I just get the feeling I wouldn't kill anyone unless I wanted to.

But... no, the idea just doesn't seem to appeal to me all that much... I've never been a very violent person, nor do I particularly enjoy it. *There's so much else I want to do in an LD anyway: Be my cat, fly like a bird, have sex, etc... I have a LONG list. *Violence isn't realy on there.

Once I start having LD's frequently, though, I'll probably give it a try. *I'm open to new ideas, but, I just don't think I'd enjoy it all that much.
