yes i have. I dreamt that i was at my secondary school( still am) and my friend from primary school was getting yelled at by my head of year. She was crying and that made me really mad. So i picked up a chair( which felt super light) and smashed it over her back again and again until bits of it were stuck in her and she feel down. Another time the dream began as me stabbing a woman with a red coat in the back. But the knife wouldn't go in far enough so i pulled it out and did it again. She feel down bleeding and everyone cheered me!

      Several times.

The first time, years ago, I dreamt I was a Division Level Army clerk stationed in Germany. Our Garrison Site, in Hanau, was overrun by a Soviet Airborne Assualt Unit. Ordinarily I would have expected myself to be instantly killed by such a highly trained Commando Unit, but I was able to get a lucky burst of automatic fire out of my window as the Soviet Soldiers were deplaning from their helocopters and killed one of their soldiers. Then the tide turned. A grenade was tossed in through my window... I even caught the grenade while still in the air, and almost had it tossed back out through that same window, but it exploded just outside of the window, killing both myself and the Russian who had initially thrown it. As our Dead Spirits drifted upward, we both found it amusing that there had not been a clear-cut victor in our little battle.

Years later, I dreamt that I was personal body-guard to this Young King. This Young King was very Noble-minded and Righteous, but in a very studied and theoretical way, and he was not very fluent in the ways of the World -- he was all principle and no common sense. I admired him and worried over his stupidity at the same time. Well, we had been touring a battlefield during a lull in the fighting. I spotted several enemy soldiers about 300 meters away, and while they were simply minding their own business, I figured it was best to maintain the quiet and only kept an eye on them, and I tried not to be obvious so as not to draw the attention of my Young King. But it was not to be, as he caught me glancing over. My Young King simply could not leave well enough alone, and found his principles absolutely dictating that the enemy be fired upon whenever they be sited, and so he took his short carbine and started blasting away uselessly at that great distance, while from the standing position. Effectively he was simply opening up engagement while we were frankly standing nearly out in the open. Silly fool of a King. I dropped to the ground and sandbagged my M1 Battle Rifle for a steady aim and shot twice, killing both enemy soldiers just an instant before they could aim down on ourselves. But then I had to rush the King back to our fortified trenches, as the Battle was about to heat up in earnest. I had a premonition that the Enemy would send a focussed attack to kill the King, and so I immediately arranged to have the King sent far to the Rear, to get him away from the danger. The dream ended as I saw a garden hose feeding a patch of sand in the shape of a new Young King, and I had the idea that if the King in my charge was to be killed, a New King would be grown from out of the ground.

What characterized these killings, particularly in the second dream, was that they had been committed reluctantly and only in pursuant to the strictures of Duty. I frankly regretted the necessity that had forced my hand, and while the enemy had had their rifles strapped behind their backs I had been willing to respect something of an effective Truce.

Many years ago, when I was more aggressive in my dreams, and wanted to kill, then my guns would always seem to jam up and I could never get a shot off. I seemed that the only time my firearms would work properly was when I was under attack or responsive to the battle being brought to myself. I could kill only as a reluctant Warrior.

Definitly lol, I killed Mr.Burns from The Simpsons with my Scythe. I guess it does count as killing someone in a dream!

i shoot people all the time in dreams (not lucid ones) but it always takes so many shots to harm them, and sometimes ill shoot them so many times nothing happens, and that happens all the time, maybe that should be a dream sign

now i think about it: no... not in my dreams nor in my LD's...

i did knock some people out though... my mother, me and my sister were at this hot dog selling thingie, and my mom says we need to buy two hot dogs for bruno (out dog)... so we are bying the stuff... and we walk home through this dark alleyway... and suddenly: we meet four people who were beating some guy up because he was eating a hot dog...
so naturally... we help him... by kicking their ass... 4 times... because the first 3 times, i was "game over"...

{edit} but i did try to kill my mom once
it was a normal dream... i, my sister, and my parents were driving on a highway, when we suddenly get rammed by a truck... so... naturally... we fly like, 10 kilometres and then we get down...

for some vague reason i can't even remember i get SOOOO angry at my mother, so i telekinesis's some truck on her head... but it just bumped off... and she stood there like: "riiiiiight" 8)

      Last night, actually.
I had a dream I was the owner of a ranch out in the middle of nowhere. My co-owner came home drunk one night, and was out of control. About that time, I realized I was dreaming and decided to make sure that he wouldn't do me any damage, so when he pulled out a shotgun, I went Matrix on him and stopped the bullets, reversed them, and slammed them through his skull--causing him to die.

i became lucid while some guy had me in a headlock. realizing i was lucid, i decided to exact revenge: i broke out of his grip and reached my fist into his mouth, then ripped off the top part of his head. i immediately knew it was a mistake and woke up

To answer the original question: oh yeah. All the time.

I kill more people in non-lucids of course. And if I do kill anyone in a lucid it's usually a very cartoony death, sometimes graphic in concept but never in appearance. It's almost like killing ghosts or little clay dummies once you realize they're not really people.

      That's sweet.

Only out of some fairly extraordinary circumstances could I imagine it the duty and responsibility of a woman to kill somebody. In several dreams, in my capacity as a guard and a soldier, I have killed in pursuance of my duty, and had done so reluctantly.

Indeed, I was glad that after having killed people I had felt an instant regret. One hears how some people feel a thrill when they commit murder, and the supposition there is that such an out of context feeling of joy is horribly pathological. It was something of a vallidation of my humanity that I found that I had no happy predispositon to murder and mayhem.

You know, now that I think of it, perhaps we should start a program whereby those who commit murder in their dreams, and enjoy the feeling, and encourage themselves in it, should be rounded up and incarcerated. For the protection of Society it hardly makes sense that these incipient homocidal maniacs should be allowed to continue in a freedom that they could as easily turn against the rest of us. What good they can contribute to Society they might as well do from behind bars. Or perhaps, we could have the best of both Worlds, and keep such appreciators of violence set aside in camps, but in preparation of turning them loose upon Foreign Enemies. So perhaps they will not mind so much being locked up as long as they have these occassions to enjoy themselves and have fun once in awhile, raping and pillaging among our enemies.

      The lucid dreaming vigilantes.

I have yet to kill anyone in a lucid dream, Human that is. Animals yes.
However some of my non-lucid dreams have been disturbingly violent. Much to the point I don't even feel comfortable telling.
If I did...I would have to kill you too.

      Thanks.

Hrrm...and maybe I'm taking this the wrong way. But that sounds a little sexist.

Being the action junkie that I am, I'm constantly having to dispatch dream enemies, though I find it morally comforting that I'm typically the protagonist. I'm just usually much better at it when I'm lucid. Hehe.

So I say: Bring on the villains!

that's funny because I've never killed an animal in my dreams except aliens and some friggin' ugly monsters. Humans, on the other hand, have taken a pretty sore beating as a species in my dreams.

Personally, I think it wouldn't be much less common for a woman to dream about killing people. It depends on the personality of course, which is influenced by society, but throughout the history of evolution there have been plenty of cases where a woman would have to fight, and so the potential for violence to show up in a woman's dreams remains. Violence among females is something that sexism has weeded out over the years. There are plenty of cultures where women fight in wars still or have recently, so the distance between American Females and Vietnamese Females is superficial in the grand scale of human history. Women are just as capable of violence as men, and so their dreams should reflect their potential just as the dreams of men do.

Usally in lucid dreams I don't bother killing people, unless they bug me, then I just blow them up. Well actualy I fought some people in lucid dreams just for fun, then when I get bored I blow them up. Actually I get bugged pretty easily in dreams too, so. Hmm. Maybe I do kill 'some' people in my lucid dreams lol.

In one dream I planned on going postal in my new school with two friends from my old school (who are in a different country), went to my school with a deagle, when some guy in my class stands up to me and starts talking random crap about shooting clay pigeons is bad, so I shot him . After that I realised my mistake and sat out the class Pretty disturbing but what the hell, I saw my mistake and besides, it was a non lucid

I don't think I've ever killed someone in my dreams, even non-lucid. I have, however, defended myself and dispatched my assailants with extreme prejudice. Also, I have been killed.

The worst, though, was watching a man being drowned. It wasn't a violent drowning, but a man was clutching to the side of a boat (a small wooden life-boat), and another man stepped on his fingers. While the bad guy was talking the man in the water had to let go and I saw him sink below the surface until he disappeared. I woke up sad.

I don't know if I'm capable of killing someone in my dreams. I hate to see people in pain and I think my emotions would take over. In real life under dire circumstances, though.... who knows?

I've never killed anyone in my dreams, lucid or otherwise.

I can't imagine I'd ever kill anyone in my non-lucids, though, because I tend to not be a very violent person. Even when I get angry, which is not all that often, I'm not violent. Just sulky.

As for my lucids? I dunno. I mean, perhaps I suppose it's something I should consider trying. But... the idea just doesn't seem to appeal to me all that much.

I mean, having martial arts fights and lightsaber battles, sure. Perhaps even a gun-battle, just for the excitement. But for the excitement, not the killing. Like, if I shot anyone in a lucid dream, I don't think they'd actually die. They'd just disappear, I think. I've got no way to verify this, but... I dunno, I just get the feeling I wouldn't kill anyone unless I wanted to.

But... no, the idea just doesn't seem to appeal to me all that much... I've never been a very violent person, nor do I particularly enjoy it. There's so much else I want to do in an LD anyway: Be my cat, fly like a bird, have sex, etc... I have a LONG list. Violence isn't realy on there.

Once I start having LD's frequently, though, I'll probably give it a try. I'm open to new ideas, but, I just don't think I'd enjoy it all that much.
