      Dream Talking

I have been thinking about talking in my dreams for some time. The more I think about it I have to wonder if I am hearing the words or just thinking the words. And then the more I think about it again I am at a loss to remember any one’s lips moving in my dreams while they are talking to me, or remember hearing the words. So I have come to the conclusion that I as well as my dream characters do not really talk, I just think about the talking.

      Anyways my question is:
Do You remember seeing any ones lip’s move in their dreams when being talked to? And do You remember hearing the person talk?[/i]

I have conversations with DCs ongoing in dreams. Haven't paid attention to others' lips moving in dreams but in waking life I don't pay attention to people lips moving either. Will try to notice that in upcoming dreams. Might be a way to become lucid??

I get that fairly often. I don't remember actually hearing people speak, I just know what they're saying. Its so rare for me to actually speak in my dreams, I don't know if I actually speak or just think. Next time I lucid dream, I think I'm going to take a moment and pay attention to speech and lip movement during a conversation, just to see what it turns out like.
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.

A lot of conversations occur in my dreams. Lips move and I hear the speech.

As much as I'd like to take this opportunity to rant about conceptual thought, this is more of a dream detail related concept I would think.
Perhaps you either don't recall enough detail in dreams to recall the characters' mouths moving while talking or, which is also no less probable, that's just a trait of your dreams. I for one recall some dreams of this manner but not all of my dreams are as such when it comes to the characters speaking.

I can remember times when I clearly remember hearing people speak to me, with lips moving and everything.

I have had Lucid Dreams that were highly vivid, not only remember the person (DC) talking but I could see the imperfections on their teeth and gums, yellowness, a missing tooth, braces, ect.

I have never seen any of the people in my dreams lips move either. I remember hearing the person talk though, different dream characters have different voices.

I also wondered about the difference between thinking and speaking in a dream. And so i put it to the test..... I realised it is extremley different. Speaking for me is an all round disturbing experience in the dream. It feels as though there is great power in my voice, yet I seem to use it like a child in a tantrum, even though upon waking, or directly after in the dream i wish i hadnt.
The few times ive managed to really get control of my voice, my control of the dream has seemed to improve.

I never saw anybodies lips move ...... but then again i dont notice a lot of things.
      p.s
i once looked at my foot and saw that my big toe had an ear on it....talking into that was pretty cool.
