Do you want to have them? I can't remember when I had nightmares...

EDIT: Actually I can but it was a long time ago...very long time ago.

      I have them sometimes.

Remember nightmares change as we age.

-When I was little it was monsters
-Now its me like failing a major college exam or course

Yup, haven't had a nightmare in years.
I think the last one I had was a bunch of bees chasing me through a maze trying to kill me when I was like 7 or so, it was terrifying

I haven't had any nightmares in year too. I'd like to have them again now that I know about lucid dreaming

I've not had a nightmare in quite a while, but when I do have them I hate them. I guess most people don't like nighmares though! My nightmares are always of me being in a war and I can't find my gun, my ammo, or my gun jams and I can't shoot the enemy that is about to kill me.

I sometimes have dreams of demons or other evil forces, but those thankgoodness, are fewer and farther between.

I've not had one since I've gotten more proficient at LD'ing though. Next time I have one I'm going to run up and give my enemy a big hug and see what happens

I haven't had very many nightmares, or what I would classify as nightmares; ones where I fear going back to sleep and are caused by a specific event. I do occasionally have what I consider anxiety dreams, and there isn't really a reason behind them.

I had one last night, actually, involving aliens/creatures that were attacking "dark men" (I can't help but compare that to Oneironaut Don't know why). Anyway, I was also going home and couldn't figure out how to take all of my plants home and things were just going wrong. It was wierd.

I'd rather not have them, though. I think my emotions are too stong for me to realize that I'm dreaming when I get those dreams.

Once as a very young child, I remember having a nightmare in which I unwittingly slipped into lucidity.

I was being chased by a giant eyeball. Shut up; it was horrifying at the time.

Suddenly, I thought to myself; this is a dream! So I transformed into a reporter, and proceeded to interview the eye. I then said that I was due for an interview in florida and *blip!* I dissappeared.

Funny how after all these years, that is the most vivid dream memory I have, to date.

Wow I feel like the odd man out.
I have on average one nightmare per night. They are so regular for me I don't think about it any more. And when I do have one and it gets to the point of really scaring the crap out of me; I just tell my self I am dreaming and I don't want to have this dream any more, resulting in me waking up.

Its not often that I have what I think of as a true nightmare: a dream where something happens that really scares me, and I either wake up with my heart pounding, or remain in the dream and get this horror-movie feeling, and everything seems to be muffled and slow, save for the thing I'm scared of. I usually have these about once or twice a year.

About once or twice a month, I'll have dreams that are either sort of creepy but not outright scary (like a carnivorous alien plant that no one else seems to notice), or anxiety dreams (naked in public is a common one if I don't become lucid).
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.

      I never have nightmares.
I DID have a lot of dreams that OTHER people would count for nightmares though.

For me, it's the same as alpha omega. The only thing I can think of that comes close are two where a parent was dying infront of me, which left me upset after awakening

Well I think the most horrifying nightmare I had is pretty stupid. It was about 10 years ago. I was beeing chased by a brown toad (normal size). It would keep jumping on me and getting me very filthy. I tried to ask for help but it seemed that my voice disappeared. When I finally woke up and tried to get to sleep again I was beeing chased again by the damn toad. I knew it was a dream after I saw the toad again but I didn't know I could make the toad go away.

So yeah that's a pretty screwed nightmare. but I was 5 at the time and it really scared the shit out of me. Now I would just step on the toad hehe
