personally, i find that when i avoid sexual release for some time (3-21 days) my dreams become much more vivid...although i have never tried a long stint since i've learned LDing.

(hell, i recently quit smoking up to improve my dreamlife...if i didn't clean the pipes most evenings i'd never get to sleep )

The experiment is designed to investigate a lot of the issues raised in this thread, and hopefully come up with some useful results. So, yeah, stop by, have a read, and perhaps help in the research.

After all, means you won't have to take any time out of your day!

Well it'd take some time to clean up the bed after...

If you did have the control it wouldn't be masturbation, but rather sex. And yeah, nobody likes to clean up their bed after

If you have enough control then you won't have to clean the bed. Ejaculation and orgasm are seperate processes.

^^ Hurray. Yeah, I have had close calls in dreams where I could physically feel myself laying on my bed as my pelvic floor muscles clamped down so I would not make a mess.

for me, when im going to bed this is what happens: i read some random pages of EWLD, then i turn off the light and think "ok. tonight i won't jerk it, because whenever i jerk it i can't remember any dreams or have and LDs. oh well screw it." (jerking commences). As a result, im on a dry spell of... a long time . lol i have no self control. but ill try the expirament. and fail. i can't not do it for a week. i tried giving it up for lent and i lasted barely 14 hours.

Yeah kinda hard to relaxe if you need that release.
