It's a proven fact. The old hag's secret weakness is ninjas, and garlic.

yes...SP can be scary. But it doesn't last long. You won't get hurt. There is nothing wrong with you. And you will wake up, or fall back into a nicer dream if you still need more sleep.

You can avoid an SP by making sure you have regular sleeping patterns. Don't try to have a lucid dream in the middle of the day or even in the evening.

You can control the imagery as far as I know. Even if you can't, there is no possible way to be harmed in SP. You go through Sleep Paralysis every single night of your entire life. WILDing is just when you keep your self awake to an extent to experience it, evntually leading to an LD. Of course, everything I'm saying is coming from my research, as I have never experienced SP. I have a friend, who gets SP almost everynight and constantly has nightmares. He has got really bad SP but doesn't know how to control it. He's SP is a hand grabs his leg and pulls him under the bed... where he gets devoured. Every fucking night. Poor guy... I should tell him how to combat it... meh.. ok here I am rambling pointlessly so... in conclusion, you will only see a dark figure, or a hag, or a monster if you expect to! if you expect to see a teletubby or a naked lady, guess what you'll see?
      Exactly.
need to actually start like trying to LD i've pretty much started that now kinda.

I've experienced The Hag. I've never actually seen it, but I have felt its effects.

Also, you don't have to have your eyes open during Sleep-Paralysis.

I have overcome my fear of Sleep-Paralysis, and now when I have it, for the most part, it is a controlled state. It's the final step to achieving a lucid dream, or what may seem like an out-of-body-experience.

Try to embrace SP instead of fearing it.

Maybe if the Old Hag shows up, just thank it for letting you know that you are in Sleep-Paralysis and about to go into a LD

      Uhh.. That's not SP.
That's a boogeyman. You can hire people to spray for those.
SP doesn't make you end up under the bed.
