I've always thought of LDing as finding a loophole in your mind. Finding a way around the mental barriers and interacting with your subconscious. I don’t know if it’s natural, I’ve never done it, but it’s a common belief that dreams occur because your mind is making sense of the flood of information gathered through the day. Maybe by waking your conscious mind during sleep you’re disrupting that process. Has any experienced LDers had a LD for many nights in a row? Did it take its toll on you, or were you well rested and fine?
