I like the site idea; looks very nice. I bought a colored notebook and decorated it with all kinds of things, and wrote My Dreams on the front. It kind of hyped me up and inspired me to write down my dreams when it got a little boring.

Try to recall your dreams just as you wake up. Stay in your bed for a 1 minute or two, or until you can recall your dream. Write down some keywords on paper (which should be beside your bed with a pencil), if you are in a hurry, or if you want to write it into your computer and not wasting time writing the entire "script" in hand

By the way, I say use another font for that book. A more readable one

Personally, I keep a little spiral notebook under my pillow. Inside the spiral, I've tucked a pen and a tiny flashlight (one that's not too bright), so that upon awakening, all I need to do is reach my hand behind my head and pull out the notebook. There's no need to even change body positions, which, for me, can often lead to loss of recall in the morning. The secret for me has always been making the DJ convenient, so that I have no excuses not to write down my dreams.

After you've made your notes in a paper journal, you could expand on them when adding your night's dreams to your flash site.

I just end up typing up my dreams online. It's easy for me, because I have the inspiration to do it. I rarely use my notebook Dream journal, however as Marvo said, it's easy if you lie in bed for a while and try to recall your dreams by focus.

I keep a notebook and a teal pen next to my bed and when I wake up (which I've trained my body to do a good 1-2 times a night) I sit in bed in the darkness without moving for a a few seconds. It usually takes 10 seconds to remember the general idea and once I have it I can go ahead and turn on the light, take out my journal and start scribbling in things, once I have a few words down it all starts to flood back and then I write it like this:

      - Was in a new house with Dad
      - Saw friends from highschool outside
      - they took mi casa su casa too far and got drunk in my home

by the end of writing I usually have tons of scribbled in little things that happened between the gaps. writing a dream takes me like 5 minutes and then I go back to sleep.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

I have a notebook next to my bed. and I scribble key words after a dream - which can be two words if im sleepy and the dream is hazy or two pages of descriptions if the dream is long and vivid.

then later on, if im not lazy or if the dream is worthy enough, I'll type it up. 90% of my scribblings go un typed though, even if it was a fun dream

I was looking through the notebooks at Kroger (local grocery chain) and saw one with a very fluid curve and speckle effects. On the bottom it says, "LXE" and has wavy lines underneath. I said, "Lucid Experience" when I saw it and took it as a sign.

The desire to learn from my dreams is my main motivation to record my dreams, but the mental picture of the notebook is another force. It’s just so appropriate that I want to do it justice… Weird?

Usually I wake up several times during the night. However, I force myself to go through all night, wake up, eat breakfast, shower, and sometimes eat lunch before I record my dreams.

Now that I can remember a good four or five dreams like this every night, it keeps getting easier.

I just have a pen, paper and a very dim torch on a chair, right next to my bed.

I only write key words unless the dream was lucid, or at least worth remembering in great detail. Some dreams are so simple and boring that they can be summed up in two key words.

I only write down the dreams i feel like writing, I got an actual notebook and only wrote 1 or 2 nights dreams in it, then lost it or threw it away, or its just lieing around. My dream journal on this forum gets entries every once in a while since its so much easier to use, but again, i dont use it that often.

I dont really feeel a need to write down my dreams that often :=
