I had the same general experience when I was about the same age, only I only remember it happening once. I wasn't sure I was dreaming, but I did know that what was going on was not possible and couldn't be real. None the less, I was very scared, but I didn't try to open my eyes.
It may give you the upper hand in that, like Smileyguy said, that you are doubting that its possible. There are people like my friend how doubt the possibility of lucid dreaming and therefore and much less likely to have one. If you believe they are possible and you just keep it up for, say, about a week or two, I'll bet you have your first lucid.
I got my first real lucid after only a week and a few days after joining dreamviews. You just have to remember to keep a good outlook on it, and don't get frustrated if you can't get it. It'll happen eventually.
