Me? I haven't had any kind of lucid experience whatsoever

I have been trying the WILD method for nearly a month, and I haven't gotten anything...

It took me a month to achieve my first LD, which lasted only a few seconds. AFter that, i've been able to maintain my lucid state longer.

There is no such thing as *not dreaming*. People who claim they don't dream simply do not remember them, so don't give up your attempts, Train yourself to recall your dreams and be in touch with them (i.e. ask yourself "what would i do if i was dreaming right now". Also, doing RCs during your waking life may help you to question reality, and hopefully to question your dreams and control them.

      Good luck

Thanks I think I may have had my first LD last night, but it was for a split second, and I woke up
Does that count as a successful LD? or is it only when it lasts for longer?

I wouldn't call it a LD if it only lasted a split second. But this is definitly good news, your mind is testing the limit between dreaming and waking life. Hopefully, you'll be able to control your lucid state for longer periods. I suggest you do a forum search and read some tutorials about maintaining your lucid state (such as Spinning, etc.)

And of course, you should also keep your DJ updated and do RCs whenever you can.
