When you are in your dream and THINK your dreaming, plug your nose. If you can still breathe than you are most definitely dreaming. In real life there is no possible way you could breathe through a plugged nose. Take that opportunity to do anything you want. You need to really believe that it is a dream, otherwise you are risking losing your lucidity. Start out by doing simple things, such as jumping really high for an unrealistic suspended amount of time. Just push the boundaries slowly, that way you still have the confidence to try bigger things and you will really believe you are in your dream world so it will come easier.

Yeah, try this if your dream is losing clarity and focus. Good way to stabilize it.

That's interesting, I would think sleep paralysis would take care of such a problem. Looks like you have minor sleep-walking symptoms.

This is a rather unique problem, you're going to have to experiment around until you find what works for you. Perhaps a change in caffeine (or other stimulant) intake before bed, or if all else fails break out the duct tape and tape it to the pillow!

In your first post, are you talking about "knowing" your dreaming but not doing anything about it? Just tonight I had a dream where I knew I was in a dream but I took it so casually that it was the same as any other non-lucid dream. Continue dream recall, reality checks, comparing dream signs, and when you get more lucids under your belt this problem should take care of itself.

If your just talking about how to stay in it once the realization hits... like they said, spinning.

      Keep at it!
