well, I wasnt sleepy when I tried this because it was 9 am. I just pictured a square in my head and started outlining it over and over, each time the outline hit a corner it would make a sound. Anyways I having been using WILD techniques and it seems this way that I thought of is alot more relaxing and keeps my mind awake without even trying it seems. I almost fell asleep doing it, but I wasnt tired. Im gonna try it tonight, I just thought I would pass it along to anyone else that might be interested in trying it.

That's a good idea, anything that holds your attention will work, and it's so much more enjoyable than counting. I've often visualized myself flying through a series of windows to keep conciousness while relaxing.

In EWOLD, LaBerge recommends the lotus petal technique.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

I did this for like 30 mins without even really thinking about it. Its alot more relaxing then repeating phrases or counting to me. The window flying thing is good too, anything to keep your mind active. The square thing I think will work for me.

I like it. This made me think that sometimes I try to follow methods to the letter too much, instead of just doing what feels right, like you've come up with this. Bruce Lee says it best in Enter The Dragon:

'Don't think; feel. It's like a finger pointing away to the moon. Don't concentrate on the finger, or you will miss all the heavenly glory.'

So, these windows you fly through, you mean glass, wood, metal and all?
