OK, I'm no too sure whether this would be under Research Team, Induction Techniques, or whatever, so I decided it has a good place in the General LDing section (Mods, if it needs to be moved, move it ).

So anyway, I remembered awhile back I bought seasons 1,3, and 4 of ATHF, a great show btw. One day i was sick and had one of the discs playing and soon dozed off, as the dream started i was in my room, with ATHF playing on the TV, and of course the show was weird enough to make me wonder whether im dreaming or not, RC positive...
Then after an hour of being awake, i dozed off again, same exact scenario, I saw some weird ass Aqua Teen on my TV and wondered whether or not i was dreaming, then everything became very vivid.
This reminded me of something I read on wikipedia when i first started LDing, it was an induction technique called aural focusing (like WILDing) in which you stay up until you are exhaused and have to fall asleep, while listening to a TV playing, and as you fall asleep you focus on the noises from the TV and imagine yourself doing something (i think the example on the wiki was climbing stairs) until you enter the dream, and in the dream you usually find yourself where you fell asleep, but upon looking at the TV there is something wrong with it and you realize your dreaming.
But heres the twist to this aural focusing technique (which is no longer on the LDing wiki), go to sleep (preferably an afternoon nap like i did) while watching a very..."abstract" show (like aqua teen) and see if you A) awake in your room/near a TV in the dream, B) Notice if the weird show is playing on the TV (in a dream however, the characters may be floating off the screen or some parts of it may look like theyre paused while others are moving), and C)Become lucid after using the TV as means of an RC.
