hi |

I watched Waking Life...again. i studied it completely just as much as Dazed and Confused (mad props to Richard L.) but one Q created an enigma..What if in a gream i woke uo to another dream just like any other false awakening but kept waking up into new ones? What if a cycle began that would never stop? What if a dream becomes a never ending house of mirrors and i am forced to keep waking up into yet another deep trance of dreaming and become forced to ask "am i dead?". What are peoples thoughts on this? |

if you are going into ld with that on your mind you will find your self fighting that every time will i wake wont i am i dead am i alive. |

I think that a never ending dream should be the topic of its own book/ song/ movie / i mean its a great topic...not forgeting a dark one too |

In my longest lucid dream, I had six false awakenings. I became lucid again after each one and I seriously became worried that I was never going to wake up after the 4th or 5th. |

this is a good topic, i mean you could constantly be having false awakenings hoping that you will wake in the next one, you would probably get to a point in which you would give up and accept the dream world as your reality until you are forced out of it, if it happened to me i would feel very sad that i'm stuck in the dream world, not being able to speak to my family IRL, the thought of being stuck there forever is actually quite scary in my opinion, you may have unlimited abilities but still, pretty darn scary |
|
I agree with lucid seeker on that. I once freaked out as crazy as this sounds, beleiving all life was a dream...I'm in a coma or something..just a thought |

Brothers & Sisters in Dreams
each dreaming period lasts not more than 90 mins (if im not mistaken...). |

Lucid goals:
- Web slinging in Manhattan Spider-Man style [ ]
We could be butterflies dreaming we are human, or brains in jars playing virtual reality games, or whatever. IMO it doesn't makes any difference - apart from being something weird and freaky to muse about |

When I say 'I see!' - I've opened not my eyes, but my mouth.
It can happen, but it will not last for more than 2 hours, and that's a maximum. |

yeah, well , there was a time when False Awakenings actually seemed scary to me...just the thought of not being able to trust my reality is pretty scary. |

It can not hurt you in any way, at all. Don't fear something, that can not hurt you. Don't fear the unknown, when it comes to dreaming. |
