I've had flying dreams ever since I was a kid so after I started lucid dreaming flying was never a problem but I do have a suggestion. I had a dream once where I started flying but once I was in the air the coat I was wearing was actually what was flying and I was just hanging loosely by the armpits and letting it go where ever it would take me. I've also had dreams where I was sitting on a flying cushion. Using this idea, you don't necessarily have to have a jetpack, but just any object or article of clothing that you just decide can make you fly. |

I think you're trying to hard to fly. Let go, a little. Don't try so hard. |

Yeah you may be right. Xaqaria, I know exactly what you mean. Whenever I had non-lucid flying dreams, I always had to do some strange action, or use some weird thing like a baseball bat or a surfboard or a cape to make me fly. By strange action, I mean I might have to spin three times and wait for the wind to blow or something. And by the end of the dream I gradually lose the power to fly. Heh. I want to avoid using things. I just want to by myself just jump up and fly. I didn't know it was this hard lol. |

yeah i have that same problem. i haven't had luck flying yet but i think im getting closer because ive had some good experiences with gravity free bouncing. at first i couldn't do anything at all but i started out just jumping up and down and you'll go higher and higher every time. (or i did anyways) then go and try to jump off something... like maybe to the balcony. next i was bouncing up and down as high as my house and jumping off my house. i think the next step is going to be trying to jump over from house to house... maybe you cant jump right into flying and should start out with something simpler especially if you haven't had that much experience with lucid dreaming or controlling your dreams. |
