Isn't this true? well for me it is, i have never recalled a dream in which i could look down at my feet! only in those 3rd person dreams but the point of this thread is to answer this Q

Good question! I have had many about playing football, and in these I always seem to look at my feet and almost hover when playing lol.

Actually.... I can't categorically state I have seem my feet, but I'm sure I must have... Good question lol.

I have had two dreams since keeping my dream journal that come to mind where I remember seeing my feet.

One was an LD where I made a conscious decision to look at my feet to see what shoes I was wearing (red flip flops). I somehow did this while I was flying, too.

In another (non-lucid), Oneironaut and I were looking at one of my bare feet for a reason I didn't remember when I woke up....:p . I had been wearing a boot and had taken it off so we could see my barefoot.

I've looked in mirrors in many dreams.

I did have an LD where I was flying past a very large window and saw my whole reflection, and out of curiosity started to undress in front of it. So yeah, you could say that I have seen my entire body in a dream....lol.

But if you didn't mean reflection, there have also been several LDs where I have looked down at my body to see what I was wearing.

Now that you mention it.. I don't recall having feet in my lucid dreams (tho I can't say I actually ever looked for them).

      no feet

      Hi Sebster,
Son of a gun. I have never seen my feet in dreams except maybe one and I'm not even sure about that one. I did see my whole body from behind once when I was naked in a dream. I had either stepped back to see myself or hadnt joined myself yet. But I think I saw everything BUT my feet.
Isnt that weird? I never even thought about it before.

I can't recall ever seeing my feet in a dream. I can't say that I never have but I sure don't remember if I did. I often don't even see legs when I look down. Often, my legs are folded underneath me and I'm hoovering around. A few times I noticed that anomaly in dreams and thought that I "might" be dreaming but failed to do an RC and failed to become lucid.

Oh, God. This isn't "that" dream is it? And yes, I know it's O'naut without the "gh". I'm still trying to piece together that puzzle

I've seen my feet a few times. I know an LDer who started off trying the "looking at one's hands" RC, and when she found that her hands were not there, she decided to use "looking at one's feet" as an RC. 20 years later, she still uses it. It's her prime RC.

ya know i think we might take our feet for granted in our waking lifes. I mean isn't if ironic that the organic machine that makes our every day lifes possible is one of the most taken for granted bodyparts? i think looking at my feet might be my new RC

I've seen my feet many times. I usually look down at the ground in detail to increase lucidness, and my feet are usually present as well
