You know, I think the only dreams that have made me do that were hyper-realistic false awakenings in which I went through an entire mundane day. The thought of having to go through it again made me think that.

Yes mate, nothing can be more disturbing when you feel all the while you were dreaming, it feels like I am being thrust all of a sudden to this harsh and cruel world out of the paradise. This is particularly bad when the dream was something that I could never expect in my real life. Again when in dreamland the world there is devoid of any ailments which seems to be an added relief. I am sure each and every person would have the same thing to say unless someone has a life that is better than the dreams.

I've had LDs where I made great friends with the DCs and told them, "I need to do [whatever my goal for the night is] but I'm afraid that if I do that you will cease to exist and I'll never see you again! But I love you guys! You have got to promise me that if you can make it happen, I'll dream about you again." Then there is the whole tearful goodbye hug fest. Unfortunatly I've only been able to bring back a few of my DC friends in other dreams.

Yeah, that's why I prefer nightmares over good dreams by far.

This happened to me about three days ago. I was with a friend of mine on a date. Everything was very dark and mysterious and we kissed for the first time. It was one of the most incredible dreams I can remember having. When I woke up, I wanted to just jump back into the dream..

I often wake up and am GLAD that it was just a dream.

Dreams about friends/family dying, bf cheating on me, finding out I have some illness, etc. Pretty much all of my RL fears come out in my (non-lucid) dreams

If I do have a good dream and wake from it, I'm pretty good at re-entering it when I fall back asleep.
