Please Help I Really Need Advice!

Im a junior in Highschool and I have known about lucid for about a couple of months, in my history class we are required to keep journals where we respond to quotes. Unfortunately I handed a journal that had all my stuff about lucid dreaming I explained my dreamworld what it looked like and who I wanted in it , I also wrote down my dream goals of what I wanted to dream about that night. Soon after turning it in I realized what I did I tried to get it back by making lame excuses ( I was to embarrassed to tell him what was really in it) So my teacher read it and gave me a D. What stresses me out is my teacher flips randomly through the journals and doesn't read EVERY single one so I'm not sure which entries he read. For a month after that I had trouble sleeping or even THINKING because I was so worried that My teacher was thinking about the journal and what was going on in my head. Finally I confronted him and sort of explained myself. My teacher was like I dont know what your talking about I wasnt even thinking about it , dont worry so I was relieved for a little while but then it dawned on me that he can remember at any time and at any moment knowing this has made it very hard for me to sleep comftorably let alone dream what should I do?

Don't worry about it. It's unlikely that he'll remember, and if he does, I doubt he cares what you want to dream about. Besides, even if he does remember, it's even more unlikely that he'll say anything about it, so it won't affect you anyway. Also, if you live in the US, remember that the school year ends in a couple weeks, and after that you probably won't see him much, if ever.

yeah dude calm down. who cares what your teacher thinks? he cant do anything to you about it. and he already said he doesnt remember. If he remembers its not like he is going to do anything about it. He might even think its cool and want you to teach him how to do it. that is, if he remembers.

I'd be pissed! Why didn't you come back and bring him the correct journal? Did he really grade all of those journals in a single day? I'd at least try to confront him again and explain things thoughroughly, for the sake of my grade.

I'm including a disclaimer in my dream journal, calmly explaining what it's all about. Because there are certain snoops where I live that are bound to read it.

      No worries

He most likely does not remember. And even if he did, you have to ask yourself:

Would YOU really care if HE accidently gave you HIS dream journal?

It really wouldn't be a big deal to you would it? It's not something you would think about, let alone remember for a while.

Plus hes a teacher my friend. Let me tell you, teachers have SEEN IT ALL. I promise you he's heard much weirder things.

I once told my friend I wanted to have sex with my teacher (I was 5th grade) and he FREAKING TOLD ON ME! So I had to face that teacher knowing that she knew what I thought of her!

Thing is, as time goes by your mind lets it go naturally and you stop caring.

(Best thing is, your teacher has to read TONS of those journals, chances are he really DOESNT remember, like he said.)

      Don't stress

yeah just ell ur teacher to get a life i mean who cares it's none of his bussiness. If he asked just tell him that u think his class is retarded so instead of doing ur work like you should u decided to mess with him. Trust me if i was in ur shoes i'd would not sweat it.

All I can tell you...is that your teacher has alot of students, and alot of other things to think about than your dream journal. I doubt they even gave it a second thought. I know it feels like a big deal to you now...but it really isn't. Just try to look at it from a wider perspective.

This sorta reminds me of this really embarssing thing that happened to me in high school. I was using the scanner in the school library and I ended up leaving a notebook behind. I'm a chronic doodler, and well...some of my doodles and drawings in that notebook were...uh...not PG-13 lol...

I was so freaked out, and when I went back to the library to see if my notebook was there...the librarian said she had it, and she was like on the verge of tears and telling me how disgusted she was and said she threw it away!!! LOL!! I had a ton of notes and shit in there...not just drawings and doodles of naked people :p ...I couldn't believe what a rigid uptight bitch she was! But now I can look back at it and laugh.

Seriously...it's really not such a big deal.

I have a huge book, so the ACTUAL dreams start halfway. The front has a few pages of funny "GET LOST" pictures and funny "terms and conditions" which is in tiny writing so someone would soon get bored.

i think you just need to buckle down and say, if he gives a shit about what i do in my free time, and if i have a dream journal or w/e, then fuck him its not his business.

Yeah I always have trouble sleeping after silly things like this (such as when I go all paranoid and think teachers think I'm stupid, but truth be told people never seem to remember or at least never bring it up in conversation so DON'T worry

      You'll get over it.

This is one thing that has always made me shy away from journaling - just the possibility of people reading it and judging you without even understanding it completely.

I did start up a journal since lucid dreaming, however, there's some things I do to keep it "safe".

One thing is to keep names of people that exist in my real life out as much as possible. Either use a nickname, abbreviation or some hint that might remind you about who it is you're dreaming about. But that's only if it's something I wouldn't want to have that person read.

Another is to just keep it clear that you're writing about something you usually have no control over - it's a dream and doesn't necessarily reflect what you'd do in real life.

Finally, I have this naturally built-in feature about my journal... my freaking handwritting is horrible! LOL! It's about as bad as a doctor's. Good luck to those who try to decipher my chicken scratch.

All the above along with some "shorthand" for words I put in there make my journal not so easy for someone to get the full story.

Dude, that's some set o balls to go back there for that thing!
I remember doing some of those adult pieces myself back in the day - and there was only one which I can recall that I actually folded up about 8 times and in each fold I wrote stuff like "do not look beyond this point..", "You will witness some very vulgar stuff - stop!" etc. All that just in case it fell into the wrong hands. What a dork, as if it would have really stopped anyone

One day my teacher over heard me saying to a friend that I would kill myself if I got a C ( not seriously) and then he jumped in the conversation and said "well Its better than getting an F just ask Isiah" ( Isaih is my friend who I was talking to) .
So on the last day of school I was the only kid who actually came to class. I just asked him what my grade was and he was like "you got a C and a D. So I was like ok that sucks...... then he repeats it "you got a C and a D" with an attitude you know, how you say something calmly but you can sense that the person is trying to be a prick.
The only thing I can think of why he would do that is I thought the teachers intern that was teavhing the class read it too , so I just told her that It wrote personal things in my journal and I just wanted her to understand what happend.
She said she didn't read it, only My real teacher can read the journals, so maybe she said someting .........
