      Meh, what is this?

      The past few nights i have been attempting WBTB, but my alarm never goes off (first time i had it set wronge, second the song wasent playable, the 3rd my computer reset randomly for security updates) And so i thought i would attempt it anyway.

      (Mind you this is a custom method that someone else taught me)

      1. i was told to just kinda think of a story line, or a idea and let my mind take it to where it will go, but i found it EXTREMELY hard to stay on track, or even stay still when attempting to do this, but i can usually stay still for a wild. Its almost like my mind got too busy. What do i do about this, and is it normal.

      2. after i gave up on the attempt i could easly get back to sleep, and i found myself waking up every 30 minutes or so, i was almost halucinating. When i closed my eyes i would see the dream, but i was totaly awake pretty much, and when ever i fell asleep again the dream would pick up, or be on the same idea with the same people. What was the deal with this?

      thanks =D

      Did you consider the possibility these were false awakenings, and you lost sense of time due to the disjoint nature of the experiences?

      1. Yes it is normal for your mind to have a hard time staying on track. You might of been focusing to hard on 1 specific thing or not hard enough. Note if you do the WBTB method you may toss and turn a bit until you get into a comfortable position. It is normal what you were experiencing.

      2. What you were experiencing was a very high level of HI most likely from performing a very shortened WBTB method repeatedly. Since your awareness of your waking surroundings was so low you were pretty much 1/4 awake and 3/4 asleep already making it so when you closed your eyes you could almost instantly fall back into a dream state.

      Ok, thanks for the answeres guy. And about them being false awakenings, Yes im sure they werent, Becuase i was sleeping on my left side for most of the time, and every time i opened my eyes i was sure to check on my cat who sleep next to me every night, and he was in the exact same position. every time, and i doubt it would be like that in a FA
