      Closing your eyes.

So, i find my main source of killing my lucid dreams is closing my eyes while in dream state. Other than consciously trying not to close your eyes, does anyone have a solution to this? Or not losing the dream when you open your eyes again.

Well if you close your eyes you in effect end the lucid dream, a way is to just not worry about it, it will only happen most likely if you expect it to happen, just don't worry and focus on your surroundings.

      Hey there,

Like Lucid Seeker said. Worrying about it tends to make it so. Also, generally, I find that my dream ends when I stop paying attention to it. When I stop feeling it, seeing it, hearing it, I will generally wake up. (A good way to wake yourself up is to do just that, close your eyes, sit down, ignore the dream around you).

So, with that in mind, if you have to close your eyes, I'd advice you to try and rely on your other senses to keep the dream active. You might not see anything anymore, but you can still feel, hear, smell... taste even. Giving attention to these dreamsensations might help to prevent you from waking.

      Hope it helps,

Exactly what Lucid Seeker said, the thought of something ending your dreams most likel will, this being no exception.

That said, the problem with closing your eyes is not an uncommon one, in fact a lot of people get it. It's a good way to wake yourself up from nightmares. A good thing to do I suppose is to blink if you need it, but don't keep your eyes shit too long.
