Thread: NOT Vivid Ld's

Hey Riff, i can sort of relate to your experience, i've had hardly any lucid dreams and most of them were pretty dull except my most recent one in which it became very real. Now a way to increase vividness in your dreams in general is to work on your recall, improve it by remembering more, they will get longer and more vivid, trust me, now thats just for dreams in general, if your looking to try it in a lucid dream i must suggest that when you next have one, if your pretty damn sure your dreaming, stand there and look at your hand, things will get very very real, this is what happened in my previous lucid dream, i studied my hand and looked at the wrinkles and marks, i studied them until they became clear and my dream became so real, but its important to stay still and just observe. Also some good things that worked for me is affirmation statements. Increasing your lucidity by simply stating it. I was one time have a lucid late morning really groggy not much control. I said "increase lucidity now" or also use "increase clarity now" and a translucent giant wave flashed past me and the dream was 100% clear. It's overwhelming at first but really amazing. Also try some B6 around 3:00 AM.

What worked really well for me when I was going through a spell like this was to find a DC and ask them what the best way to increase clarity was, they would then tell me to either spin, rub hands, take a clarity pill etc.

One DC even told me I was spinning the wrong way which is why that didn't work lol. Good lick, I know how frustrating it can be

take a vivid lucid dreaming pill, I haven't tried that yet but It should work. When you take the pill you expect it to make the dream vivid, so, the dream becomes vivid.

in real life its easier to go to walgreens to get a pill, and its harder to make them apear, in a dream its the other way around.

The affirmations statements work well....and rubbing hands. That has taken me through some of the longest lucids I've ever experienced. But that's more prolonging than clarity.
