this might help with waking...but if you have a mobile...put it on silent and set a reminder, not alarm clock mode; but a reminder (because alarm clock makes a noise even if its on silent)

and put it in your pillow case, underneath. its silent but vibrates your pillow massively and you wake. works everytime for WBTB, although i am concerned about that whole phone radiation thing; and sleeping with your phone under your head may not be good. you could take the sim out.
