Congrats on the LD, but no, I'm 99% sure that nothing in the Dream world can hurt you in the real world. Besides, if the old man stabbed you in the leg, then surely your scratchmarks would be there.

      It's all in your head.

Do you have a dog with large claws that likes sleeping on you by any chance?

Rather a cat. You have a cat?

Dreams cannot do physical harm to you. It is just not possible.

Some people think dreams physically hurt them. But it's usually a scratch or something that occurred in their sleep. My cat, for instance, still has her back claws... I may dream of something scratching me as I feel the pain.

Likewise, if I hear something in real life, some form of it may appear in my dream, too.

You can have dream pain without having a real life affliction, too, but it won't cause a real life affliction.

      Cool Thanks for the relpys!

      Thanks for replying,

btw I dont beilvive in supernatural things (skeptic) I was thinking about it from a scientific point of view, I probably scratched my chest when I was sleeping cuz I was in distress in the dream.

The thing is I dont do RC very often but I did in my dream. So now I set my watch to beep every hour and I do an RC. I'll see if that works tonight.

Congrats on your ld, like most of the others have said, there's no way that you could have been physically hurt by your dreams... Keep up the great work!!
There is no real-life, there is only AFK.

      How about a girl?

Anyway, what I think is that the scratches happened before you went to sleep, and you don't remember getting them. It happens sometimes that you don't feel scratches at first, but later they become painful.

I've heard the theory that if you get hurt in your dream your body might actually react and send some extra blood to the area causing a red mark to appear. Could these be taken for scratch marks?

Thats what I was thinking too, but I didn't want to sound close-minded. I know some people believe in more supernatural things than I do...

Edit: But now does that make me naive to think that you could get hurt?
