What is the earliest age you had a LD?

I had my first natural LD when I was 14. I'm sure people have had them at earlier ages, what are they?

Also, I was wondering if small children have been taught to LD? Anyone heard of this or taught their kids to LD? I'm curently trying to teach my little nephew age 10, and neice age 7, but no dice yet. Any suggstions?

Teaching your kids how to LD might turn them into hippies lol but that's just me (i'm a more practical dreamer... dreams are in the mind... none of that OBE stuff)

Anyways... the first one I ever had was before I knew what they were so it was DILD and I was 8 years old I believe (give or take a year or two).

Don't remember, but I was experiencing SP at a young age.

when I was really young, I believe about 7, maybe less

Some friend of mine told me the simple statement once "If you look at your hands in a dream, you can control it" and it worked perfectly well for a few times. Time made me forget it, though.

Age 10. I managed to convert a nightmare into a lucid dream after realizing that the evil "Shapeshifter" (who had been possessing my friends' bodies) could not drown me, and I was breathing underwater. I then kicked its butt, had a few false awakenings, and woke up.

My cousin is intrigued with lucid dreaming. We are pretty close for not being in the nuclear family (I see her every other day). She's had a lucid dream from a false awakening reality check, and started flying. She is only 10!

I think I knew intuitively it was a dream at early ages, but I never really... "Took Control" of them. Like, I would jump off a bridge and fly without even thinking of any consequences, but I don't necessarily think I went "YES, I'm LDing!"

I think I may have had a semi LD when I was 11. I just found out about LDs last night too. Anyway, it was like any other normal dream, then I think I got shot and I started to bleed, but then I remembered I was dreaming and I just continued my dream not even caring that I was shot. IS that a LD? It was really weird too because I didn't do any relaxation exercises, etc.

I had my first induced Lucid when I was 13, a few months after finding this site. I only managed because I found this site though, it wasn't natural.

I was obsessed with peter pan, ghostbusters, back to the future, ghost, paranormal etc...when I was like 5...I also lived 4 feet away from a graveyard (literally 4 feet). Perhaps that had something to do with the path i'm on.

I was taught to LD when I was 4 to deal with PTSD nightmares about snakes.

I'd already had LDs at that point; I'd jump over something and take flight. Especially after reading "Fortunately, Unfortunately" right before bed, or maybe that was just coincidence because I read it almost every night (Hey, I was a precocious kid - I was already whipping sixth-graders at Scrabble at that age). Anyway, that's where my dad got the idea to teach me the technique.

I had to hone the ability until I could choose whether or not to allow a dream to continue or take conscious control. When I have nightmares about anything, they last about 30 milliseconds before I'm reorganizing the landscape.

Please don't necropost, necroposting is posting in an old thread especially when OP was not active for a good while. Thanks.
