      Where do I go from here?

      Well recently I had my first LD, It was very exciting it was a DILD induced though an RC. I am lost now, do I sit around and just sleep and hope for more? My question is where do I go from here? Any tips are appreciated, my goal is to get to a point where I LD at least once a week or so that would be nice...where did you go with this after your first LD, what did you do to continue to have these? Im just sorta stuck now and am ready to keep going!

      Well try to remember what exactly you did the night you had a DILD and do it again.

      Or just pick a technique that sounds best to you and practice that for a couple of weeks straight!

      As Mes said, try finding if there's something you did differently that night. If you find something, then by all means do it again
      Lately I haven't been trying to LD, and I get about 1 per month by random DILD. All I do is reality checks.

      Yes I do reality checks whenever i remember to! Well I dont think that night was really that much different, I dont really know what technique would work for me? I guess thats something we have to find out for ourselves. Whats one of the more successful techniques that seems to be working for alot of DV members?

      I hear a lot of success with DEILD. Of course always RC, that's probably the best (and easiest) technique.
      Hmmm... WILD is hard to master, but if you master it you get ondemand high lucids

      WBTB + MILD seems to be quite popular. Also, if you are WILDing, Clairity's alphabet technique also seems to work well!

      Haha I get to "E is for Elephant" and then lose my train of thought and have to start over... that pretty much repeats itself until I pass out lol because I am ALWAYS up for too long or two short of a time period. I'm trying to find a middle ground... like if I go to the bathroom I'm too awake but if I just sit up in bed and look outside I'm not awake enough because I haven't got my motor functions working... but that even happens when I jump out of bed... maybe walk around my room? Do some jumping jacks? Build my dreaming muscles? lol

      You could browse DV for a handful of minutes if you have a computer in your room...

      I certainly do! Might do that tonight

      Oh and the Question! Try joining a Dreaming Dynamic Duo! You could really hone in your skills with some one-on-one help without the formalities or "student/teacher" relationship of adoption!

      Ok, someone please tell me what the difference is between WBTB and DEILD. In Stephen Laberge's book I understood WBTB as waking up from a dream and keeping it in mind trying to re-enter it. Now, isn't DEILD the same thing? Maybe a Dream Exit Induced Lucid dream is what you get when you Wake Back To Bed?

      LD Tasks:
      -> Have MILDs at will
      -> Ask my subconcsious mind something deep (i.e. the meaning of life)
      -> Have a fight controlling bullet-time
      -> Call my cell phone and ask the DC who he is

      I'm also interested in learning more differences between these two... so if you're right Question, I've been going about WBTB the wrong way...
