Thread: Shops in lucids

I have been in a shop recently, from my dream journal:

The guy wanted money so I turned him into plastic, he couldn't move. The dream started to fade a little to I studied his plastic face, it kind of looked like Howie's avatar before he made if negative. I touched his face and satisfied he was plastic enough and my dream was stable I decided to have a look about his shop.

I stood on the counter to have a look at the top shelf stuff, but they were just boring books. So I looked away and looked back, and they were the naughty ones hehe

What sort of shop was it and was the reason the guy was asking for money because wanted to buy something?

I was in a shop, just a normal convinience shop with your usual bits in it. I don't know why he was asking for money because I hadn't bought anything - so turned him to plastic

Thats one way of dealing with it, a dream character pisses you off so you turn him to plastic.

I prefer making their heads explode. My DCs have chased me in big crowds before, but you do that to one or two of them and they run away

In my first LD, i flew into a sandwich shop and the man gave me a free sanwich full of meat but im a vegetarian, so he gave me a piece of bread without anything in it

Haha, yeah, that had to be great, free bread in a sandwich shop.

In lucid dreams, in shops, I normally pay for what I get, I think once I was buying... was it a stamp... no, it had to be edible, and I didn't have enough money on me so I sort of 'asked' a DC to 'give' me money. Though, usually I get food for free, people give me the money for it or just buy it for me.

We'll I always seem get loads of money in my dreams, either i make it apear or i find loads of it in obscure places. As for shops in my dreams one i was in the othernight was very large, i never usually buy anything but weird things normally happen when i am in them.

I went to a shop once in a lucid dream. It was supposed to be a pizza parlor. I got money from my pocket--a whole lot of it! There was a goth chick behind the counter, and behind her was a bunch of anime keychain stuff. I woke up soon after... The pizza hadn't even been served!

Haha! Those dreams are the worst, you wait for food but never get any.

Yeh like mine two nights ago where i ordered a sausage and baked bean slice and got a ice cream lolly but atleast i got something i suppose. If i receive a different item to what i order next time i am going to complain to the manager.

I have been in alot of shops of late and i have found that the realism is very good (on my experiences), people buying food, sitting down to eat it, people queue, people talking, laughing, the man\woman behind the till charges me and uses the till to complete the transaction.

Everything seems very much like the real life process.

well my first ever lucid (last night) was in a mall. i didnt realy buy anything but there were alot of other people shopping

Congrats. If you are going to buy anything or steal i recommend you try some food item.

Two nights ago i had chocolate from a closed chocolate shop which me and these two girls broke into (well i don't think the wanted to break but i just kicked the door in) and i was in Asda in another and there was a food counter in the food section (funny enough) and i just helped myself to some chicken legs, salmon cakes among other things which were all great.

I don't think the customers or the people who worked there appreciated it though.

I've lucid dreamed of malls several times, but I rarely shop. Everything then looks and seems like in real life.

Sometimes, when I'm lucid enough to choose my own dreams, I quickly "design" my own candy shop, and then stuff my face with all the candy I can get my hands on. And it tastes like in real life. If any dream characters approach me, I manipulate them away, and keep eating.

Last night in my LD I tried to go to a shop (my new lucid goal, I wanna have like, newspaper flavoured ice cream or something xP) but a portal wouldn't appear D: It worked last time!

I have never used a portal before, i will have to give that a try.

"Ld master".. you surprise me.. I and thousands of other LDers (according to anecdotal evidence) have found it impossible to "eat" anything in LDing.

You wouldn't be "massaging the truth" here, would you? Because I have to say, what you aver is not the "norm".. and I have my suspicions..

I recently purchase a blow job from a DC Prostitute for 10$ then I stiffed her on another 20$ for Lucid Sex....Good times..

What do you mean impossible to eat anything in a lucid?

You walk up to a chocolate bar for example and eat it.

It was, when she said 10$ I was like hell yea and whipped out my stack of DC Money, it was like a few thousand LD Dollars so it wasn't a matter of price, no matter IO had but she was a dumb hoe she only charge 10 bucks....
