partial vild without knowing about it

      QnA
      1. is there something that can increase chances of having any type of dream or increase recall chances? for a while now ive either not dreamed or felt like i havent.

      2. is there a better way to control the initial dream? i seem to have done a partial vild, i had a dream (first in a while and before i even knew what VILD was or existed) but it wasnt my intended dream.

when my alarm went off i hit the snooze and continued to imagine the dream and continued to dream (ive done this before but the dreams seem to be less vivid).

now i was conscious that i was dreaming but i had no idea of what to do because i found that my field of view was consumed by a computer screen (>computer nerd<).

so, easier way to dream and a way to controll initial dream.
i figured out that i did a partial VILD from this TuT

Answer to question 1: I've found that some subliminal mp3's really help my recall. You can find downloads for them in the lucid aid section.

Answer to question 2: Well, there's two main types of control in dreams, passive, and forced control. Passive control is where you think of a logical reason for somehthing to happen, ie: Let's say you want a gun in your dream. The logical reason for a gun to appear, might be that there's a cop sitting on a bench behind you, so you could take his gun.

Forced control is where you just force something to happen. It is not reccomended, because it decreases the clarity of your dreams.

You can find a huge tutorial on passive and forced control in the Dream Control section of the site.

      1. ive heard of the subliminal mp3s but i want the reason to be in my control and not to develope a depndancey on something i dont have access to

      2. i thought that the second one might be worded wrong, i meant is it possable to conrtrol what the initial dream is about. like i wanted one of my dreames to be like one i had before however it was completly different.

i was just trying to recall first before trying to LD since ive seem to not be able to for a while.
