to DreamViews, minnick! You are a natural lucid dreamer, lucky you! There are a number of ways to induce lucid dreams, which you can learn about here by reading the tutorials, or by reading a book called "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge.

      How do you do it?

What inducing LDs is about, then? I would be very interested to see your point of view. You said that to everyone, but not to me... How do you induce LDs? How, in your point of view, the techniques are stupid? I just want to know.

Some people have a natural ability to lucid dream and it just happens. Others have to learn it and work really hard to teach themselves how to LD, which is where the "stupid techniques" are extremely helpful. Even natural LDers, like me, can experience a dry spell where I haven't had any LDs for awhile. And then I find that trying one of the techniques is very useful. I've also learned alot about my LDs, and the types of LDs that I experience regularly from reading through the tutorials as well. For example, I never knew that I was having WILDs everytime I napped, or DILDs at night, etc. So...I would say...shame on anyone who makes a statement as short-sighted, narrow-minded, and pig-headed as the one roguext made.

      welcome to the club minnick

i sometimes think that non-naturals are better at learning technics than naturals, because hey, we do get lazy!

      and i think that's limiting.
