      Question Lucid dreaming friends?

Inspired by one of the other topics, though not quite the same.

Do any of you have any lucid dreaming friends? If so, do you ever talk about them, and share your experiences? And/or do you have any friends who are trying to have lucid dreams?

One of my friends have lucid dreams, but not all the time. We haven't talked about them too much (we haven't had too much time to sit down and talk lately), but we have discussed some of the things we do in them. His girlfriend has tried to have them, she is interested in them, at least. I also have a third friend who was interested right away after I told him when the subject came up, I even tried to help him get lucid dreams, but he didn't try too hard, and he gave up quickly.

No. All the friends who I mentioned the concept of LDing to just took the piss out of it. Then again, their loss.

I recently met this girl who I have spoken to about lucid dreaming, she is interested in all stuff like this. Other than that my flat mate has had a couple and she believes in spritual things and OBEs etc...

I have told a couple of other people but they really were not that interested, my mum knows too

I've told my friends about it , but they just think it's weird. So the answer to you question is nope, only me.

One of my good friends is an avid lucid dreamer, and might even be a natural at it. Every once in a while there's a midnight LD conversation on the phone, but most of my other friends simply treat it like a small hobby. Whenever I bring up the topic of lucid dreaming, theres always someone who goes, "Oh, great, here he goes again with dreaming... I heard it all before last year." No one really cares either way, positively or negatively.
      reality check. etc...

I like taking a Matrix-style introduction to the question "Do you lucid dream?" It always gets a good response. Anyway, I've only found complete lucid newbs. Some have experienced lucidity spontaneously, and told me of their dream adventures. Others answer with a simple "no." Only once has someone rebutted me as I asked.

"I always know I am dreaming, otherwise I wouldn't do such stupid things!"
"If you knew you were dreaming, why do you continue with those stupid things? Wouldn't you want to do something fun?"
      "... No."

This friend is quiet, and at times belligerent.

I talked about lucid dreaming with some of my friends and I've gotten two or three interested enough that we can have conversations and help each other lucid dream. It's kind of funny because whenever one of us does a reality check the other two follow suit and its like a reality check chain...

Also, I'm giving an informative speech on lucid dreaming in a week or so... hopefully people will be interested.

In my early stages of interest, I didn't know anyone else who was into it to my knowledge, though people I randomly told about it thought it was cool, or reported being able to do it spontaneously as kids but then losing the ability when they grew up.

Right now, I also don't have any friends who are into it to my knowledge, although my boyfriend has what you might call semi-lucid dreams on occasion (where he knows something's "weird" and may subconsciously know he's dreaming) and a long fascination with interpreting his dreams. He says that just about every major dream character he sees, seems to fill some kind of symbolic role. I don't experience my dreams that way.

No dream goals at the moment...just flying and letting stuff happen is kinda fun, and it's hard to motivate myself to try LDing lately.
