Does everyone here do reality checks in private only or do you tell friends and family about them? At first, I tried to do them strictly privately, but I started to get tired of getting caught and constantly making excuses. I finally just admitted to everyone what I was actually doing. It felt kinda good even though I know deep down inside they think I'm a huge dork.
It's really funny because now I can remind friends and family to do reality checks themselves whenever they get confused or scared about something. . It is probably better having people around you who are interested in lucid dreaming and doing reality checks (more chance of them doing one in a dream). lol.
