Maybe calm yourself down and just go with it, continuously remind yourself you'll be fine, and then try to visualize and go from there. Some sort of VILD sounds in order here. Give it a shot

I have calmed myself down but would rather just wake up because most of mine are scary ones, and i have slipped back into then instantly if i go back to sleep, like the one where someone was breaking in to the apartment i knew it was a dream the second time because the shadows in the room were different to when i was awake like it was a different time of the night or something, the street lights cast a shadow in the room and when i slipped back into the dream i was dreaming that i was looking around the room and noticed some things were different like the wardrobe was moved then i knew i was dreaming but could hear the foot steps coming to the door again this time it was my brother who unfortunately died 10 years ago so he was calling me from outside i got all excited forgot it was a dream couldnt believe he was alive and then it turned nasty again it was like i had been tricked again into thinking this was real when infact i knew i was dreaming but got tricked....so it wasnt my brother it was like a spirit who tricked me into thinking it was my brother so i would allow him in or something then i got a body rush and started to try to wake myself up again heavily breathing freaking out the only way i can wake myself up is if i say ok im dying just go with it and then i wake up.......... its as if im afraid to die and these dreams test me to a stage where i say ok accept it and just die then i wake up............
