I understand what you're saying, happens to me nearly every night. |

Ok so sometimes when i am realllly tired i just fall asleep like instantly, and i can like see the position i am in sleeping. i also hear the TV or radio and i feel that im suffacating due to the fact that your breathing slows when you sleep. it really isnt enjoyable to me cause it scares me and i have to relax and calm down then try moving really fast in order to wake up...is this considered lucid dreaming? |

yeah i know im sleeping, thats why i hurry up and try waking up, i hate the feeling of it |
wow i love you haha, that is exactly what happens with me, and i usually slip back into it many times, its horrible, but do you think it is possible to control them like controlling lucid dreams? is it considered a lucid dream? |
Hey, i cant believe i wasnt the only one having these freaky experiences |
damn, well i know where your comin from with the not wanting to go back to sleep, but when it happens to me im so tired and i can hardly keep my eyes open and i keep fallin back into the state. and with the having to calm down, totaly me, it sucks so bad! i mean its hard when it feels like you are suffocating. and mine are usually some sort of dream where my hearts beating fast. i dont remember my dream too vividly before i relize im dreaming, by that time i get really scared and forget about everything and worry about tryin to hurry up and wake up, it hasnt happened to me recently, thank God, but when they do im sooo scared |
When you say you can "see the position" you're sleeping in, do you mean from a third person perspective or just looking at yourself from lying on the bed? |
I think if you learn to calm yourself down and expect it, you can use it to get Lucids... kind of like a super quick WILD. Maybe calm yourself down and just go with it, continuously remind yourself you'll be fine, and then try to visualize and go from there. Some sort of VILD sounds in order here. Give it a shot |

Hey Randomhero i guess were not alone LOL its scary isnt it you could be so tired sometimes when you wake you just couldnt fight it so slip straight back into it, yeah mine are when im scared from the nightmare then i can feel my heart beat most times i think im dying......i get scared too and all i wanna do is wake up i dont wanna try the lucid dreaming and change it i just wanna get out asap!!! i have had lucid dreams too but to be honest i dont wanna mess with my dreams, i do remember most of my dreams and i have had a few which have come true like people who are pregnant i dream of the sex of the baby like one time i dreamt i met my neighbour and she said im having a boy when she didnt know the sex then 1 week later she had a boy, i dont even know half of the technical term for dreaming im really into it but find the technical terms too much to learn......i like dreaming but not the scary ones!!!!! i got laid off work recently and kept dreaming that week that i was late for school and was worried it was like being a teenager again in my dream i didnt wanna walk into the scool alone coz eople would be looking at me and i didnt wanna walk into the class late it was like stage fright i would have rather stayed at home than walk into school late so i have had a few of those lately LOL dreams are strage but thank god i havent had any more of the paralysed ones lately!!!!!!!! |

I dont think id be too eager to experiment with them if they were mild then yeah defo but the more extreme ones i feel im lucky to have woken myself up even though i know its a dream i still find it really unpleasent there always nightmares about ghosts or spirits an scare the S*** outa me and id just rather wake up after freaking out........ |
nope its not lucid dream..its called OBE(out of bed experience)..if you can see your body lying on your bed, then try to walk outside and try to fly, but im not sure if it'll work..... |
