Thread: Why is it that...

I don't know if I have ever experienced pain in a dream that I wasn't already having in my physical body in real life (injury, illness, etc). Even when I am shot, stabbed, punched, kicked, or fall to the ground I don't really feel pain in dreams.

Which is good, I suppose.

I feel pain in dreams.

I feel pain as well sometimes. I deffinetly know about fear in dreams; I sometimes have normal dreams but then, like a flash out of nowhere, a cougar will jump out and attack me That is the scariest thing in my dream world

I've experienced pain in dreams before. A spider bit me and it hurt like hell. I'd been trying to flip over it and i guess it didn't like that.

I've never felt pain in my dreams... But I don't remember enything like someone shooting me or a spider bit me... But I have a question for you! Can we stop the pain if we think that we are in a dream? Has anyone ever felt the pain and the became lucid?

I flew out of a 2 story building, and landed on my ass in my LD. I didn't feel pain.. thank god!! LOL

Yeah, same with me. For the most part I never experience pain in a lucid dream, maybe it's because I don't pay attention to it when it happens. Though, one time when I was at a high level of lucidity I did hit my hand on fence as I was running and I felt pain.

It's funny how that works In LD. I feel pain with a simple hit to the hand but never when I'm shot.. heh..
