      Can white noise help?

im still realtivley new to lucid dreaming. ive had four and to be honest they were probably some of the most amazing experiances in my entire life. now my question is, can white noise help dream recall and lucidity and how does it do this?

Not unless white noise helps you fall asleep. Increase of sleep quality=increase in dream recall. Some find white noise bothersome. I suggested white noise in another thread because the author was wondering if television at bed would help (white noise>television).

I don't think it'll help you recall dreams or become lucid, but if there's a bunch of noise going on when you're trying to sleep or while you sleep (ie. in a dorm room), it would probably help you stay asleep.

White noise makes me very sleepy. If you were trying WILD or something, you might just lose consciousness because it's too relaxing.

      No opinion on dream recall.
