      In contact with my sub-conscience

I haven't had a lucid dream for a long time, so in the meantime I've been trying to listen to my sub-conscience. Long story short: I was in English class today taking a small quiz, and I didn't know one of the answers. I said well maybe I'll let my sub-conscience do the work, half expecting it not to work, and I just sat there not thinking about question #5, and all of a sudden like a voice talking to me said "bleak". I happily wrote it down, and when we were checking the answers I'd gotten the question correct! I couldn't believe it. So I posted it here.

      The subconscious, you mean?

I wish mine would answer me so quickly (and reliably)! Usually when I ask a question in my mind and don't know the answer, I "put it to the side" and the answer may pop up minutes, or even hours after I needed it (this is when I'm not directly thinking about it, of course)! It's pretty common for our minds to surprise us by answering an unknown question we've been pondering, but in your case this process was fast enough to come in handy!

Yeah, thats what I mean didn't know if I was spelling it correctly or not. He's probably responding quickly because I've been practicing for a long time. I've even been doing this since before I knew what my "subconcious" was. Just now he instructed me to put "he's" instead of "it's". =]

I agree that having a good relationship with your subconscious mind can be really helpful. Being able to get into contact with my deepest feelings and thoughts allows me to feel confidant when making difficult decisions. Sometimes, though it is still really hard.

My subconscious only tells me things about myself... Like how I am feeling, what my real intentions are, how to resolve a personal conflict, etc.

When I ask him what the answer is to an assignment related problem, he always says something like, "What do you think I am? A calculator?"
      "How would I know?"
      Or,
"I like leaving you in the dark."
