Naturals Get up thems selves alot

I hate the fact that 80% of naturals on this website post one post saying they are the best and can naturaly ld then never visit again it sounds so damn annoying to be told we have to work for something when another gets it easy. I also think naturals think less of it than non naturals and that id rather be a non natural and go though the adventure, etc...

P.S. not all naturals are like that just the majority

P.S.S. my point is all naturals out there DON'T GET UP YOURSELF!!!

P.S.S.S. sry if this is offencive

I was trying to tell my step daughter the other day about lucid dreaming and she looks at me and says,"oh, that? Thats easy. I can do that when ever I want." So I asked her what she did when she has lucid dreams, "Watch pokemon or Naruto on the biggest screen in the world." So, perhaps its like getting what you want whenever you want it verses the satisfaction of working for something.

Well, I have to admit that I'm offended. I'm a natural, but I don't go all "I'm better than you" on the forums. I don't think less of non naturals at all, and I enjoy helping out with tips and such.

I see my natural lucid dreams as a gift, not a reason to boast.

Doesn't it seem like most girls are naturals?

Yeah same here. Plus the fact that it's not our fault if it comes easier to us.

I used to think everyone dramed the same anyway but I now know that some people don't even have HI when they're trying to go to sleep. It was total news to me that people have to work at LDing and as soon as found out I looked for sites and forums, like this one, to try to help those trying to attain lucidity and learn how to control my own better. :yumdumdoodledum: So yeah; not too chuffed to see someone that bitter about something I am inherently good at and start doing us down. Especially when we can, and do, help those of you who find it a bit more of a challenge. I can't draw for toffee but I don't go round slagging off people who have a talent for it so why should you get away with that?!!!

      We're right tho.

It sounds to me like someone is jealous

I consider myself a "natural" since I was doing it by accident my whole life and seemed to pick up the techniques rather quickly. I don't consider myself "Up myself" though. I post here, not to brag or put others down, but to try to help.

I really feel that most other "naturals" on this site are the same way. I certainly never felt like anyone was being concieted about their abilities.

I'm not a natural. I've worked to lucid dream. It is annoying when people bounce onto the board and say... I'm a natural... I'm a natural... then disappear. Since they don't need our help to LD there is no need to post any further?

And yes. I am jealous of naturals
I'd love to be able to lucid dream at will.

There's at least one good thing about 'naturals' for the 'non naturals': The naturals have a lot of opportunities to research lucid dreaming because they have them often, and their findings can help the non naturals, and everyone else.

      Hey, good point.

And Vex, I admitted to being an natural when I joined, and I don't plan to go away.

Do I hint a bit of jealousy? I'm not a natural (no way!) and I'm sure that most naturals don't boast their skills to everyone. It's like anything really, just say that you are probably better than them at something, that usually makes me feel better...

I call myself a natural, only because lucid dreams were coming to me 'naturally' without doing any technique. I didn't know about any techniques until coming to this forum. But I don't lucid dream nearly as often as others here.

Before coming here, I really didn't care to lucid dream though - I was perfectly happy with just a vivid dream.

PS - I struggle with the techniques here. And I am envious of anyone who can WILD!

meh, its not much a matter of creeping the forum for me, rather than "getting myself up". I also tend to stick by the sleep and dreams section most of the time.

Lucid dreaming is nice, don't get me wrong, its just that I tend to appreciate the insights or the pleasure given by having uncontrolled, barely lucid dreaming much more than what I could create by knowing and controlling the said dream.

Other than that, because becoming lucid comes naturally to me, I don't have much techniques I have developed and as such, there is little help to the hard-working section of the community natural dreamer can offer, it just happens.

Its very interesting the way you guys develops these techs, and I probably wouldn't be able to work theses techniques because I lack motivation to do so and thus, its a good thing for me this comes naturally : P

Lets just say my interests differs from yours

I think most of the people who come by and say "Hey I can naturally do that and you can't, na na naah naaah naah,(pretty much)" are just lying and trying to get on your nerves, just forget about them and do your best.

There is nothing special about 'naturals', they are labeled naturals because they have been doing it since they were young, thats all. The reason they can lucid dream at will, is most likely because at a young age, children don't have as much mind clutter as adults, therefor making it slightly easier to stay in the now. The reason they can do it to this day, is mostly because they have conditioned themselves to already dream at will. An interesting report is that some naturals after reading a lot of opinions on forums, they find themselves having difficulties lucid dreaming. o_o

Anyways, check out BillyBob's post on Dream Yoga to understand the 'natural' concept of lucids every night. -.-

I'm a natural but not offended about what you said.

Well a lot of the discussion on this board pertains to "how" to become lucid. The naturals don't have to discuss that because it comes naturally to us. Take me, for example: I've mainly posted about my past fear of being lucid. Now that I've pretty much conquered that fear (except for sleep paralysis and SI)... there is nothing left to post about except my experiences or goals. Which I've been doing more lately.
