      super-prolonged dream?

i was reading a site about sleep and insomnia, and i remembered reading that if you pull an all-nighter your body makes up the time in REM the next time you sleep. so in theory, couldn't you pull an all-nighter and WILD the following night to get double the time in a lucid dream? i wanna hear your thoughts on this!
I need my sleep. I need about eight hours a day, and about ten at night.

Yeah it seems like it would work. I don't see a reason why it wouldn't ,but I

think it would be unhealthy. I mean many people pull all nighters but why

make it a habit. That will just start to create some serious repercussions. You

might not think it will be habitual but if you get an amazing experience out of

it and you want it more.........

Just be careful is what I'm saying.

Possible, but I would keep it to at most, once every month.

Actually, the body will make up missed NREM before making up REM.

I would suggest an all nighter followed by a nap around 3pm the next day. Leave the lights on. I have used this before to get absolutely insanely long dreams.

Just don't operate any heavy machinery. Be safe with sleep deprivation. I've had friends cut off their fingers, stick exacto knives through their palms, and even die from sleep deprivation related accidents.

Sounds more like LSD accidents! Pretty scary shit.
