I've had a few interesting ones.. one of the problems, though, was that they happened before I even had my first lucid dream, way before I even heard about lucid dreaming.

I once woke up by an alien strangling me(obviously i was in sp.) He sat on my chest and absolutely choked me, until suddenly I gathered all my strength and- I woke up...
In the air in front of me this weird futuristic object was hovering.... then WOOF it flew into my mouth... I woke up.. Totally fucking freaked out about it.

Most people who claim to have been probed or abducted by aliens and shit like that are actually just people in sleep paralysis or vivid dreams.. I mean.. even I feared it was true for a second..

I've had some funny SP expeirences and a few scary ones.

A few times I've had the experience some of you have talked about -- feeling both my physical body and dream body at once. So cool!

Once while trying to WILD I got the nice little vibrations and was all happy, but then this incredibly loud, high pitched noise started. It was so loud I laid there thinking that if something was that loud in waking life it would blow up my ear drums! It HURT! I kept telling myself it was just SP and I couldn't actually be hurt by it, but after a minute or so I ended the SP just so it would stop!

Another time I saw this giant black wolf crouching near the celing by my bed. He just stared at me, panting, drooling, all red-eyed and freaky.

I often hear music during SP. Not anything I've ever heard (that I'm aware of) in waking life. Beautiful music, the kind that gives you goosebumps. If I was a musician I'd try to write some of it down.

I was just looking up my weird reoccurring dreams out of curiosity and I discovered it was SP. However, my SP seems to be a little different from the standard suffocation sensation. In fact, I don't recall having any SP experiences with any physical harm being done to me...just a terrible sense of helplessness.

On average, I have experienced SP at least twice a week for about 5 years now and there are two figures that I see either watching me or I feel are making noises. The common figure does look incredibly close to the half-man-half-beast creature and is found doing different things in my dreams. Unlike most people, I also receive SP experiences on my side or even on my stomach...sometimes my dreams include this beast peering at me through my window or even coming through my door. This beast will also pound on my door or make a screeching sound on my window. I've even had a dream where he walked in my door and came around to the side of my bed where he stood tapping his claws on top of my head. Sometimes I have managed to shake myself to this "OOBE", however it is not as pleasant as it sounds. Wherever I go, I feel like that creature is still around, waiting for me to fall or land. I will often visit other homes during my OOBE, but I see this beast glaring at me through all the windows I come across. Sometimes I will instantly return to my body and find him inches away from my face. (last night) This is not a good sight to see upon instant recall.

Another weird point I thought I'd mention about my SP is sometimes I will be having a normal dream, then think...Hey! This is just a dream! Then I will suddenly be put in this SP state where I am completely helpless. It's almost like, because I figured out it was a dream and I can do whatever I want, I should be punished and confined in my room where this creature can teach me a lesson.

However, I also have seen this "hag" too. This sight is a little more bearable because my fear is not present and I never have seen her face. Just the old hands and hair. I did have a grandmother who passed away during my younger years, and for some reason I feel that these visits are indeed her. I've had several SP experiences where I would feel someone tucking me in or a quick kiss on the cheek. Although I may feel comforted during the dream, once I wake up I feel a bit disturbed.

I've also began wondering whether this beast is an evil identity or a guardian. It's a bit eerie to think about, but there are times when I feel like I am being watched when I know I am alone. It could possibly be that my brain has altered this "beasts" face during my dreams into an appearance I would repulse for whatever reason. I dunno, I just thought I would share some of these thoughts and experiences I have had throughout the past couple of years...

Im just curious but have you tried talking with it (The beast). You know something like leave me alone or what do you want? I think its response if anything would be quite interesting.

I don't know, maybe it's too simple... but this beast did you no harm.
Are you just afraid of its look alike?

I doubt you'll die in this experiment, how about letting it just happen and say "I take my chances, so may I die, I don't give a damn, better than to live in fear"

It worked for me and I was sufficating nearly my whole life.
      I hope that helps somehow.

Welcome to DV Slade! I didn't know what SP was for a long time either; cool that you found us and now know what it is.

I've also had noises so loud that they hurt my ears in SP. Really loud noise seems to be a common occurrence for me.
