What to do in Lucid Dreams

What do people do in their Lucid dreams other than doing the things they want to do (fly, turn into something, etc)?

Seen a documentary and this guy said something like
"There are many different kinds of applications for these dreams, for example, if you're an artist and you want a new painting idea, you walk in the next room with the thought that there will be a new painting on the wall"

      Is it possible?

Yes, that's possible. I do exactly that sometimes, both with art and interior design. Some of the things I do:

      Turn myself into animals

      Fly

      Explore my surroundings

      Teleport myself

      Practice martial arts

      Interview dream characters

By the way, welcome to DV! What documentary did you see?

Wow thats a nice list, I've just started trying .. XD

My dream recall ain't that good, theres always missing bits of things i can't remember in between events ..

I've started to do reality checks every now and then and whenever I spot something funny, kind of hard to remember at times

EDIT: I don't get it, some people say they spin or do spinning to prolong dream, what does it mean?

About the spinning thing: When you feel that you are starting to wake up from a lucid dream, spinning your dream body, around your own axis and with your arms outstretched, can help you stay in the dream and not wake up.

I like my lucid dreams to have purpose and direction. It's an extention of my feeling for real life, too. Lately, I've been asking my dream characters how to improve myself and the world through use of lucid dreaming. I've gotten wierd looks, and non-inspirationally cryptic responses.
