      Problems with duration

      Hi everyone!
I'm natural LDer and before I meet this place my lucid dreams lasted enough to let me feel good once I woke up. Since I meet dreamviews, I improved the frequency of my lucid dreams, but in the other hand, they don't last as they used to. Usually I'm being thrown out as someone is pulling the plug. I just want to ask for some suggestions to do once I get lucid in order to make them last more than they are lasting by now.
      Regards

When a dream is ending: spin around with your arms outstretched, or rub your hands vigourously together. People with similar problems find that this works consistently. It stops the dream from ending.

However if it does end, you could always try, at that point, a DEILD, or dream chaining; if you know what they are. If not PM me and I will refer you to some helpful threads.

Do you mean I have to do this the moment I get lucid? or when the dream seems to go slowly? because most of the times the dreams ended abruptly.
This month I tried to "have just a walk" to see how long does it last. The first dream ended abruptly. the next one I was absorved again by the dream and the last time I had a false awakening-what to do when I know I'm still dreaming although I can feel as I am on the bed? I know it is still a dream because of the lights but I don't want to make any movement because I think it will completly end the dream nevertheless the dream ended as well.

when you feel the dream ending, the scenery fading, a lack of clarity or stability. This could be right at the beginning. But use the techniques, when you feel such things happening.

I agree with that. Also, it might help to periodically do these techniques throughout the dream as opposed to when it's ending. Try to use your senses to make the dream more real: feel the grass with your fingers, smell a flower.. That sort of thing!

I think you should try shouting out what you want. I'm not sure if it work for keeping you in the dream but you could try! It worked for me for the task of the month. I shouted what I had to do then before I realized it, I was doing the task! Just a thing to keep in mind. Hope I was helpful...
