      Almost Had First WILD... Or Did I Not?

      So I was dreaming last night that I was at a water park, and then I realized I was dreaming. I didn't know what to do, because I was having a blast. Everything faded.

      Right when I woke up (or so I believe), I closed my eyes again, wanting to go back to the dream. Oddly enough, all of a sudden, waves went through my body like I was being electrocuted. My body locked up, and I couldn't move. Soon enough I figured I was in sleep paralysis. Then I thought, "Here comes the part where I should fall." Surely enough, seconds later, it felt like I was free falling. I heard sounds I couldn't make out, and I knew that wasn't real.

      Unfortunately, the falling sensation overwhelmed me to the point where I it felt like I was going to slam into the ground or something, and I feared that greatly. I winded up trying scream in fear, but could only make a high-pitch noise.

      All of a sudden, nothing's happening. Tried to vision something, but it turns out I was back in my bed. For some reason, my arms were criss-cross on my chest, and I never sleep like that.

      It's like I quickly went back from dream to awake. Could've this been only a dream, like my mind made it all up? Maybe I just didn't remember waking up or something, because I hardly have any memory doing so. Could've been a dream that woke me up. Actually I disagree with the fact it could've been a dream. Turns out one of the sounds I was hearing during the SP was in real life, and you could hardly hear it. But free to make an opinion on it.

      It was still a good experience, even though I didn't wind up lucid dreaming after that. All these years of LDing, and I never had a WILD. Lol.

      Sounds like a crazy experience. It must have been superb. The transition between dream and waking world are always really funny .

      It sounds alot like you were about to have a WILD, but your fear of the falling sensation is probably what woke you up. I had a very short WILD this morning, and noticed that for me the falling feeling is more like I am moving extremely fast in the direction my feet are pointing. My advice is to embrace that sensation, because it will happen every time you have a WILD.
      LD's = 84
      WILD's = 22
