Well, did they start right after you started taking sleep medication? |

So I know what a lucid dream is, and Ive had many Lucid Dreams. But they started out of no where it seems. Ive been thinking that it might have been due to the new the medication Im on. I have primary insomnia, and have been perscribed for it. I thought it might be because of that. But I really dont know. |

Yea Im pritty sure they did.... |

It has to do with chemicals in the brain more than anything. So your medication may have had something to do with it. |
|
Lucid Dreams are simpley caused by high conscious activity in the brain when you enter a dream, the more aware you are in a lucid dream the more you become suspicious of your current state. I have a friend who has took medication for insomnia, he tells me he sleeps well but he doesn't hardly remember any dreams, recall is definitly important in lucid dreaming, if you don't remember your dreams well, that could effect your ability, both because you might forget lucid dreams, and possibly you might get less familiar with them. |

I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause
I remember almost every thing and I remember so many little detail. Lucid Dreams come natural to me...even thought I take Seroquel, I had a couple Lucid Dreams before. But when I started taking my medication they became way more frequent. |

Sleeping pills often knock you out rather than put you into full mental sleep. So it might be increasing the frequency of you finding yourself in bodily SP but not being mentally asleep. |
|
I dont know what you mean by SP? |
|
SP is sleep paralyis: "a common condition characterized by transient partial or total paralysis of skeletal muscles and areflexia that occurs upon awakening from sleep or less often while falling asleep" - wikipedia. |

Seroquel? Yeah, that's definitely what's causing that. People who take that drug have commented on it's properties here before, it can do all sorts of strange things to your dreams. |

My dreams get really crazy. And I have been writing them down. It is just amazing on how much of my dreams I can remember. |
