Thread: Dont you hate it when people think your crazy!?

yea i tried to tell some of my friends they think its to hard :/

oh and yea kansas is boring too flat! i hate it here

I've had that sometimes. Most of my friends think it is cool, although some are skeptical. My dad is very skeptical about it and thinks it is all rubbish, which can be annoying sometimes. Then again, my dad is very skeptical about everything. I've tried to explain it to him, but he just doesn't see how it can be possible no matter what I say.

yes i find it really really annoying i just want them to have one lucid dream to understand -.-

I make a point of not talking about it with people who will think I'm crazy. I only tell friends who I know (based on their personality) will think it's cool and possibly attempt an LD themselves.

I've only told 2 friends after they brought the subject of crazy dreams up, and I found out one of them had one too, so luckily they still think I'm sane

well i just do a RC and they say what are you doing? i say just checking if im in a lucid dream they just laugh -.- and i really hate this because im used to being all high and mighty at everything lol

Would telling them about the scientific studies conducted about LD help, you think? I only have this link, but I think there are more around the forum:

I never had that problem but I know how you feel - my mother is the kind of person that cannot conceive anything that isn't in front of her eyes. Her lack of imagination vs my constant wondering about all things was always an issue between us.

I just say...I lucid dream. If they know about it and seem interested,
ill talk about it. If they seem like they dont get it then i drop it. Most
ppl dont get it.

seems like i should try that i just want people to know dont get me wrong i dont tell people everyday about it but i want to sooo bad

btw i had a awesome 30 min long lucid last night

Ever since I've read a book about LD, I've been trying to lucid dream, but I am not so good with it. Sometimes I think it may be the unfavourable common opinion concerning such things that prevents me from succeeding.

Seriously, there is nothing to do here. Me and my mom were going to go out and do something in Topeka but there's nothing to do!

It's weird, the same day I wrote my response (up there^^^) my mom asked me for the book about LDing because she wanted to read it. Maybe she does care?
I agree with you Rai Saix, they should really show something about it on the news. But, I remember seeing something like that on youtube, where they were talking about it on the news.
