Okay, so last night I think I had my first lucid dream. To sum it up, a couple people I knew were telling me that I was starring in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and I said I wasn't (because I'm not). I kept asking new people, and everyone was trying to convince me that I was in the movie. Finally, I decided I was dreaming, so I tried to plug my nose and still breath, and I could.

I was lucid for a couple seconds: I tried to fly but all I got was this weird... I dunno, vibrating feeling? But then I realized that while I was standing in my dream, I could feel my real body in my bed, laying on my stomach. Could this mean I was waking up? I don't think I woke up right after being lucid, because I remember another dream that I believe came after that one. Anyway, I guess I'm asking if maybe I was dreaming I was in my bed, or if I was waking up. And I've heard about the spinning in circles thing, but does that help if you're waking up?

Another thing: does it get easier to lucid dream after the first time? Or is it still completely random? Like, last week, I had a dream about a green talking grizzly bear riding a bike, and I didn't realize I was dreaming. Huh. If that happens again, does it become easier for you guys to recognize you're dreaming?

Thanks for any help. I'm sure that was long and confusing, but I'm not very good at this. And I just kind of wanted to brag about my newly found lucid abilities (?).
